Extremely disappointed with this company. Website says “typically responds within minutes” which was true when we were trying to rent from them. However, when we decided to vacate, 9/5/23, I gave more than sufficient notice in writing (based on the contract) and received no response. I then sent written notice when we had actually vacated on 9/16/23, again requesting verification of receipt, yet received no acknowledgment. I tried calling and texting, no response. I then received an invoice for the following month. I called and left voicemails, emailed, and or sent a text message every day last week. I have yet to speak to anyone. Today, 10/1/23, I was charged a full months rent for October although I vacated 2 weeks ago. I spoke with my bank last week and because the autopay was set up with my debit card and not the bank routing number I was unable to stop payment in advance unless I agreed to cancel my debit card. So now I have to go through the hassle of disputing the charge through my bank. Don’t make the mistake I did! I am a huge supporter of small business and I hate to leave a negative review but I have tried literally every other avenue to no avail (they do not have a physical office). I would hope that the manager or owner will finally contact me after reading this review!

Best solution for us at College Station area, Kara was more than patient with us. Explain us everything step-by-step. And was super professional. If you’re living near college station, I totally recommend this place. They also have the most affordable pricing.

Pleasant storage facility with a management that doesn't raise your rent every two months. Electric gate has had a few problems but that's the only thing I've noticed. Will continue to store my RV here and will consider it first for other storage needs.

I called this storage facility and I spoke with Kara and she was very knowledgeable of knowing about the storage units. She was way and beyond very friendly and helpful in me getting the storage unit, as we all know it's very stressful trying to move. It's very secure and a very nice surrounding. No complaints what so ever.

Everything you need from a storage unit. Owner and management are fair and reasonable. Easy like it should be. Store, leave, don’t worry. Access as needed is a breeze.

When I first got a unit, they were very responsive. I have been trying to call and move out for a month. EVERY time I call their number, it goes straight to voicemail. There is no email to contact them and I have even gone up to the place and no one is ever there. I have logged in online numerous times to “move out” and I’m getting emails that my rent is overdue. Very frustrating!! If they were just to reach out and respond to me, I would be much more satisfied.Update: finally got in touch and there was a technology issue that has now been resolved. The owner was very friendly and apologized for the issues I faced and straightened everything out! The storage units are easy to access and I experienced no other issues.

I'm not sure what to think of this place. I rented a storage unit online and get a receipt. Thought I was good. I pull up to the place on Saturday morning and no one is around. You have to haver a code to enter the gate. I looked at my emails, no gate code. I went to the website and they have a "Move in from Reservation" link. But it requires a confirmation number that they did not provide. So I call their phone number. No one picks and it goes to voice mail. But then it says the voicemail is full. After calling several times I get a real person and get a gate code. I was finally able to get in and store my stuff. Can someone please update the website and instructions so it's clear what a customer needs to do to get a gate code to enter the site?

I will store my things here at Wellborn Self Storage for as long as I'll be in the vicinity. They have always been hospitable and accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone.
