I went to PNC Bank yesterday morning to open a business account. I worked with Hosam, the assistant to the assistant branch manager. I wasn’t in a rush and provided him with all the necessary business information. He assured me the account would be opened that same day and that I’d receive a confirmation email by end of day.
I never received that email, and there was no response to my follow-up. I went in the next morning to deposit funds into what I thought was my newly opened account. When I walked in, he acknowledged my email—but then said he didn’t have my paperwork, even though I had already sent it to him via email the day before. This was frustrating and unprofessional, especially when I had done everything on my part.
No wonder this branch has a 2.6 rating. Communication and accountability matter—especially when dealing with financial services.

I have been a longtime PNC customer and my account was catfished yesterday. I called the Glade Rd. Branch later in the afternoon and talked with Lisa, the branch Manager. Longstory short after a visit this afternoon all was set right. Lisa is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Thank you for your help. :)

Not Adequate for Small BusinessI opened a small business account two yrs ago and have had trouble with almost every service I've needed. I went in this weekend to cash a check and they non-chalantly told me they couldn't cash it because they didn't have the cash. This is in addition to other complications I've had cashing checks. This is a bank!!! I am currently looking for another bank but I'd like to add that other services like expensive wire transfer fees, online transaction logs are limited, check images are often problem to retrieve, account logins and overall customer service is lacking. This is not good and would not recommend for a small business like mine.I found that the other negative reviews on here were the only thing consistent this bank has to offer.

been customer from long time , I needed to notary 1 document for my passport renewal they didnt do , and suggested to go to shop which charges 10 bucks for each page ..upon telling that I got same document notarize 2 years back in PNC they said we do exception some time.I got same notarize in wells fargo for free when they were super busy, I am moving money and closing my accounts after tax returns.

The people there try hard enough, but the problem is PNC upper management has poor policies in place that handcuffs these people and that's the problem.

This bank has seen better days. 90% do not know the banking rules and refuse to help you. The respond with "Sorry. There's nothing I can do." Management needs to get on top of this and properly train their employees and hire managers that do know how a bank is suppose to run...
