To preface this review, I have been a long time customer with Chase and have had to go into the branch only a few times. Today, I walked in a 4:45p to open a student account with my son. Two representatives were sitting in a cube talking together. When I requested to open an account, I was told I needed to book an appointment and they couldn't help me today. I am disappointed that the business hour signage says they are open until 5p but they won't work until then.

Timothy the manager is awesome. We needed to handle some banking issues and he was friendly and accommodating. Thank you so much for your help!!

(Translated by Google) Be careful when you come here because they mess up when they change your check! In this place they get a lot wrong when they cash a check! I believe my wallet was taken at the dog park. Either way - it's gone - with my cards, cash, ID. I called the 1-800 number to report it immediately and they are sending a replacement. In the meantime, I went into the bank to get out cash until the replacement card came. The teller made me feel like an idiot for not closing the account entirely. I am not in the finance business. Had the rep on Thursday suggested I do that I would have. But the insulting tone of her voice in a very stressful time made me never want to go back again. She asked if I wanted an envelope for my cash and I said no. She literally stood there rolling her eyes at me as though I am the most irresponsible person ever. I have had positive experiences at this bank before but with this encounter I can see why the average rating is one star.

I'm a long time customer based out of Sacramento. I sent my mechanic on a one way flight back to my home town to buy a company truck. The amount was less than $8,000 so nothing crazy expensive. I spoke with the branch manager and asked her if she would cash my check for my mechanic that I wrote in his name so that I could give the cash to the seller and he could be on his way. She literally told me I've never met you in person so I won't cash the check for your mechanic. ... My mechanic had a one way flight and now is stranded in Dallas. Thank you for losing a long time customer to a competitor. Btw we do millions in transactions per month.

I like this chase and the people... For the most part. There is a banker in here though who sits immediately to the left as you walk in .... with bleach top hair and dark underneath and she is rather snooty and lacks any emotion or personality. The real reason I'm leaving feedback is they have a new system where they removed the front tellers and put a machine. This system is clearly Not Working! This leaves the back tellers who are for the drive thru! Now just making a damn deposit is a 30 min sit in the car! Who has time for that when you need to return to work!? Wth is going on here? Too cheap for more tellers? Sigh

I had my taxes done almost two months ago. I had my refund direct deposit in my account . Not realizing that Chase had already closed my account with out notifying me. Then Chase said that it was in the mail. But almost TWO months later. Still no check. So I went to the same branch I always do and spoke with Adam. He assured me that he would take care of it. An he has tried to get to the bottom of this whole mess. But quote "Sorry but the department I'm having to go through is only by emails." What crap is that. Still no check. They won't even cut me a cashier check in store. The old check has been VOIDED and Chase still has my money. I don't know about everyone else but I can't afford to just throw away $1,000 +. Chase has been an absolute nightmare.

Is your credit card account current? Apparently this is the prerequisite for them to do their job, because it was the first question they asked me. #insulting #insulted closing accounts , calling corporate.

I don't know why there are such bad reviews here. I come here several times a week for both personal and business accounts and everyone is very nice and efficient. Of course if you show up during peak hours you are gonna wait. You can't really complain about that. It happens everywhere. The people here are great and they support my small business.

This branch started off great. I visit almost 7 times a week. The owner of the company I work for has a Chase account (and our paychecks) so as General Manger I have to do deposits and get change there daily. My wife and I decided that since our paycheck are Chase we should open a Chase account so that we could deposit our checks and have immediate availability. That's when things went wrong. 1. I repeatedly asked to apply for a "SECURED CREDIT CARD" and was actually applied for a PLATINUM card. those two are so far from the same thing. 2. When cashing my paycheck the tell gave me the change (.47 or something) as well as deposited. Bank error in my favor but that's a mistake. I did return the change so that tellers drawer wouldnt be short. 3. when depositing my checks that are drawn off a Chase account I was told that the "funds will be available immediately" They never are. My checks always have a hold on them for 3 business days. You'd think that when they scan the check they could tell you it will be held and not say it will be there , only to go home and not be able to spend any money all weekend. 4.When doing a business deposit and getting change for my job I was shorted $15 in dimes. When I went inside to recover the rolls of change the teller nonchalantly said " huh ? I did? Here ya go." handing me the rolls with out ever counting his drawer or anything to make sure I wasn't lying . Which kind of made me think he knew he shorted me. . . 5. This is probably the worst. I went in around 4 to cash and deposit my paycheck ( if i cash and deposit there are no holds) I'm not sure what the break down in communication with this girl was but she should not work at a bank. I gave her my check , deposit (cash back) form, Chase card , and ID and said " id like to cash and deposit this and get some cash back." simple enough right? Apparently not for her. My receipt said that the deposit of $950 was in the account. But the next morning I again started getting notifications that my account was low (low setting is like 125) I checked on line and the money wasn't there. When the bank opened Monday and i was there for my business deposit , I inquired about my personal account and the deposit while showing the guy my receipt for the deposit. After he took my chase card and Id he said " well you didn't deposit it in this account" i replied " yes I did , I gave her my check , card ,and ID . It should have been in MY account" He then walked over to the assistant manager of the branch and began to whisper into her ear while looking in my direction. I began to feel extremely uncomfortable at that point as if they felt I was trying to steal. I understand that they have to be cautious but I wasn't stealing . I just wanted the money that earned by hard work. Thankfully I was there doing a business deposit or it would have taken a long time to recover my money. I looked at the deposit receipt i had received from the business deposit and it had the same numbers that the assistant manager was asking me about. Apparently the girl had deposited the money back in to the account the check was drawn off of. THATS A MISTAKE THAT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN. Now what happened next is disturbing. I showed the assistant manage 'Aronda' what numbers where on the the receipts and she proceeded to transfer the money in to my account. "There you go" There was no "I'M SORRY" or any type accepting fault of any kind. Having to see them almost daily for my job is painstaking and stressful to say the least . We've since been using our USAA account primarily .
