We have been using Tara Animal Hospital for at least 20 years-Staff has always been excellent and caring-Dr. Sims is wonderful with our fur babies. Would not consider going anywhere else

Tara has been taking care of my babies for over 10 years; they are the absolute best! They are genuinely passionate in what they do, and treat our babies as if they were their own. We have experienced a couple sicknesses with our kitties, and Tara has come through with flying colors on recommendations and resolutions. Our kitties are our family, and we would never settle for anything less from a veterinarian. Dr. Simms is our primary vet, but we have also seen Dr Woods and most recently Dr Dobbs and they are all wonderful. The staff is great as well and extremely accommodating with questions. We have 100% trust in Tara Animal Hospital and could not recommend them highly enough!

We took our dog to Tara Animal Hospital for her annual checkup. She also got her nails trimmed and her glands expressed. She dislikes getting her nails trimmed but throughout all procedures the vet and her assistant were very patient and professional. We have used Tara Animal Hospital for several years and are very pleased with their entire staff and the their professionalism.

I cannot thank Dr. Dobbs and the Tara Animal Staff for their care and true compassion when working with my baby Bentley. Dr. Dobbs managed to fit Bentley in, despite it being incredibly last minute, which I will be forever grateful for. She went above and beyond and managed to even complete procedures that other vets had been unable to do. Unfortunately, although Dr. Dobbs did everything she could do and more, we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to Bentley. Dr. Dobbs performed the procedure with the utmost compassion and I can’t emphasize enough how kind and accommodating the entire staff was. Based on this experience (and historically how Dr. Dobbs and the Tara staff has been with my other daughters dogs, I will be moving my other pug over permanently to Tara. We cannot recommend enough and are so grateful for everything Dr. Dobbs and Tara staff did.

Definitely one of the best in our area. Besides knowing what they're doing and having the kind of attitude you'd want in a vet, we really liked having a number of vets on staff. Our previous vet was really great- but she was just one woman. She couldn't always be available. At Tara that never happens. We've had two very elderly cats as patients there now (combined ages 30) and they really knew how to manage the myriad of things that are always popping up with a 15 year old cat. At the end they were very compassionate. My wife says to mention that the flowers they sent when Molly died were beautiful!

Always receive great care from compassionate doctors and all the techs and staff! Recently had Dr. Woods expertise along with Molly, helping with my 2 pups gastro?? issues. Throughout the crisis, they communicated with me consistently offering guidance and support as I tended to my 2 dogs ailments from my house, preparing to bring them to Tara, if needed. My older pup has a hard time traveling (we live 20 miles away in Flower Mound) so it was comforting to have her resting at home to get better. Thank you, guys for treating our animals like your own. And thanks to Jo, who is the "first responder" to several different crises and issues when one walks in the front door!!

My previous vet didn’t bother to diagnose my cat when its was a very obvious issue. A couple months later i had to rush him to Tara Animal hospital for X-rays because he was struggling to breath. He had a Hernia and most of his intestines were in his diaphragm. They answered so many of my questions and were so kind. Dr. Read suggested a surgeon and kindly preferred wed go there since they had more experience with that kind of surgery. Unfortunately I had to put my sweet cat down the next day or else he wouldn't have made it to the weekend. They were all so kind to me and my cat during that time. I wish I had gone here sooner. I now take my kitten and future animals there. Amazing service and I appreciate every single person in that building for taking such great care of the animals that come in here as well as the customers. They were so honest and did everything they could for me and my sweet kitty. Im forever grateful to this vet, because my sweet boy didn't leave this world alone. Thank you Tara Animal Hospital for taking such great care of my kitty and for taking great care off all the other animals yall see❤️

I liked the Consultation Room for Sophie. She was calmer and less afraid. Dr. Schoonover checked her over and answered all my questions. The best part of our visit was Gracie who loved on Sophie and made her feel secure. Thank you, Gracie
