We had a tire blowout right in front of this gas station last night on our way from Austin to Pearland. We quickly found our new wheels had lug nuts that didn't fit our tool we had in our vehicle to replace the tire. We ended up getting stuck at the gas station for hours. The cashier was very friendly and helpful! She even offered to give us a ride after the store closed. Great little store out in the country. I'm very thankful for her hospitality! Also loved watching the kitties while we were sitting around.

The proprietor of this location is very kind. My car broke down on the way from Austin to Houston on Thanksgiving Day and he really heloed me out by providing contact information for three local towing companies. I was able to arrange for a family member to retrieve me and take me on to Houston, since the wrecker could not come until later in the evening. The station owner very kindly let me leave the car in his lot all day. Thanks to a very nice man!

Great customer service and low prices during this pandemic. They have all sorts of different food items and water and other necessities at low prices. Would recommend to stop by if you are passing by Austin in hopes of finding items that may be out of stock in other supermarkets.

Such kindness! Such great service! We stopped to grab some water, and at the register the owner asked us if we’d be drinking the distilled water we had selected. He directed us to the correct drinking water, smiled, and genuinely seems to care about his customers and his business.

Stopped for gas @ 4am in morning. Another car pulled in shortly after I did and parked on edge of park I area facing me with its brights on. No one came out or called out. Just sat there watching. Very suspect and I left before whoever it was built up the courage to try anything harmful.

This place can easily be a 3 star, but I hit it on an off day. First off, the gas price on the sign you could see from the highway was less than the price of the pump. Not a drastic amount, but I have learned by experience to pay attention to this. Next, the gas, was was a bit higher than down the road, but not by much. However, when it came time for the receipt, nada. I had to go inside and stand in line to get a receipt. By this time I was getting irritated and noted that the inside could use some love and care. However, when I got up to the cashier, she was quite friendly and had a charming personality. That right there put on an extra star. I will be returning next trip and hopefully these items, which can easily be corrected, have been done. This is one of those places out in the country that I always hope stay in business for a long time. They have all kinds of items crowded into the little store so that local farmers and ranchers don't have to take time away from chores to drive into town. I did actually break down and also bought a lottery ticket as they had on display a large amount of tickets that have won in the past.

They have Citgo gas , fresh made sandwiches, local beef jerky, beer, firewood, and clean bathrooms what more could you want in a little country store on 71? There are also tobacco accessories and detox products as well as a couple dogs in the yard that are friendly they will not approach you or bite!
