Western Union has the WORST tech support and customer service ever. Yesterday I tried to create an account to send money to my cousin in Ecuador online via a laptop. I tried a minimum of 5 times (didn't want to drive to a location) and thinking the web browsers were the issue (switched between chrome and IE) but nothing worked. Kept getting a technical error (not user error). Finally gave up and downloaded the app. The app did create my account finally but then came the bigger issues. On their website it clearly says if you use a credit/debit card to send money the recipient will get the money in minutes instead of days. An hour later my cousin said the money was on hold. I called WU and asked why. NO ONE COULD GIVE ME A RESPONSE. They just kept transferring me from one rep to another. Today rolls around and the money is still on hold. My cousin has visited his WU location I don't how many times and they told him I have to call again and ask them to release it from here (I'm in the USA). Called again today and was placed on hold for 10 min. Finally a rep picked up, didn't even apologize for the wait, and says they released the funds now. I check my app and it still says on hold but by that time they had hung up on me. I decided enough is enough and got in my car to resolve this in person but that was stupid bc their agencies can't help you with releasing money. Only can help you with sending and receiving money. The agency put me on the phone with WU again and a rep picked up saying yes the money had been released. I told him that doesn't show in my app (I've refreshed it even erased it, re downloaded it, and still shows on hold) The rep says ok and puts me on hold and then I get sent back to the main menu. WORTHLESS. My cousin still doesn't have his money. Needles to say, this experience with WU has been DISGUSTING. I hope no one ever does service with them anymore. I know I won't.

Not bad ,Internet functioned ,good front desk, fair breakfast, heater worked. Sink drains slow.... But would stay again
