Over the past few months I have realized that the employees have been relaying on the self checkout to do the work for them. I definitely think a self checkout is a great addition to any store especially for those who know how to use it and can get in and out of the store fairly quickly and easily.. although it should be only an option and not a requirement the dollar general employees have just been leaving a sign out saying to use self check out but not to everyone it is a convenience or something easy to use they should at least leave a bell or something to get a hold of an employee if you aren’t comfortable using self checkout. I also once tried to go up to a register to get checked out and got told to instead use self checkout. With that being said I think these employees should take more responsibility and not just fully rely on a self checkout machine because not everyone understands it or is comfortable with it..

This store is EXCEPTIONALLY clean!!! I had the most stress-free shopping experience I've had in such a long time, it was truly a breath of fresh air! Product was displayed and fronted neatly. I like the employees of this Dollar Store location. Makes a difference to have nice helpful people to check you out. The store covers all your needs, like a mini box store. Prices are comparable and selections good.

The visit here was a roll of the dice. Service is great and the store is very clean, but doesn’t feel as safe as it should. 2 of the 4 staff members I encountered weren’t wearing a mask. 1 of the 2 not wearing a mask was coughing. Most (not all) customers were wearing a mask and respecting personal space. Things used to be a lot better, but Greg Abbott is set on killing the residents of Texas, so beloveds, shop at your own risk.
