Normally never have a bad experience but my family and I went to brookshires here in commerce between September 30- October 4. We got a jug of chocolate milk too that expired on September 15th and was still out. While I agree we should have checked the date at the same time as a grocery store they should be rotating stock and removing expired products. Again normally never have had a bad experience but this time im not too happy.

After speaking with management and even corporate, I've been informed that there is no policy with the store regarding fragrances. On multiple occasions I have had to leave the store due to employees wearing so much cologne or perfume that I can't stand to be in the store. I have complained about this a couple of times and have basically been told tough luck, even though I have explained that I am a disabled veteran with anaphylaxis type allergies to fragrances. I can generally wear a mask and deal with the fragrances and not need my epipen, but the worst of it is that their employees are wearing so much fragrance that it's transferring to the produce and even going through the bag onto the bread. I've made their corporate office and management aware of this, and they don't care. I've been told that I can take my business somewhere else if I'm not happy about it.

This is a small Brookshire. Sometimes products are removed even though they are popular. Cheer detergent is no longer available!

Went to use my rewards card and someone else's name was on it they wouldn't resolve it and only took a dollar off other times my cards don't work but do just fine at other stores

Worst experience to date. Spent $200 only to have to load them myself. If I wanted to do that, I would go to Walmart. Wanted to get hot chicken from the deli. Clerk looked and said “I need to make sure I have enough.” I pointed to the fryer that had just had chicken pulled and asked for some from there. She snottily said “it’s the SAME chicken.” Then. WHY was she needing to see if she had enough to begin with when there was a full fryer. Went to check out. TWO cashiers. ONE bag person. There were about 8 people in line at that time. After I got checked out, I turned around and saw about 12 more people in line. And STILL 2 cashiers.
