You can count the one star I was required to put as kudos to Clint for finally answering my call after going days without an answer. VERY long story short, I blew my head gasket, which is obviously a very big mechanic job, and trusted him to take care of it after he said he’d done work like that before. That was the start of leaving me nearly two months without a car, only to pay over a thousand dollars for him to say he couldn’t fix it and that it would need a new engine. Fast forward, I was able to get my car over to another mechanic, who took it back apart, sourced parts that saved me money, communicated with me clearly and frequently, and explained that the job was not only done poorly by the head shop and the previous mechanic, but that they did try to troubleshoot, and should’ve been able to obviously see the issue and fix it if they were a good mechanic. It really looks like Clint just gave up on my car, or simply didn’t have the ability to fix it, because the other mechanic got it fixed and it’s running GREAT. DONT settle for Clint’s shop in Commerce, there’s better out there!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Not upfront about pricing (it's $50 to get a diagnosis).I have a leak in my car water hose and called to get an estimate to repair it. I was informed I would need to bring it in to be, "looked at" prior to getting an estimate. I called the next day to see if I could bring it by as it's my only mode of transportation and they confirmed they could check it out. I was there less than 30 minutes later but nobody was available to look at it. The 1 guy who was on sight said he was on lunch so I could either watch him eat or drop it off. I called to get a ride back to work and left my car there.I received a call with the estimate and was told I would have to wait 3 days for the part to come in. I informed this is the only family vehicle so I would come pick it up before they closed today.I arrived an hour prior to closing time and went inside to see if there was paperwork I could take with me. The guy was on the computer and ignored me. After 5 minutes of not being greeted nor being informed to wait I left.The guy calls me when I get home to ask if I wanted to move forward with repairs. I told him not at this time. He asked why I left while he was on the phone and helping a customer. I told him it only takes a moment to say, "Just a moment, I'll be right with you." and your first call didn't come in until 5 minutes after I waited.He then informs me I owe him $50 for checking it out. I was not aware that there was a fee, we talked on the phone 3xs and I waited when I dropped it off and picked it up.Communication is key!

5 Stars really isn't enough! Honest, thorough, and very reasonable. Clint is always completely honest up front, on this trip, as always, he took a good look, diagnosed the issue and had the alternator replaced in less than two hours! I would highly recommend this young man!

Walked in on a cold rainy day to see if I could have my brakes replaced. Clint happened to be free and got me taken care of right away. He was friendly and knowledgeable and did the job while I waited. Didn't take him long at all and he answered all the questions I had. Got to this shop over an hour before they closed and the rude individual turned me away after he knew that I came from 45 mins away. Told me he didn't know what to tell me...he had to go. Bad business in my opinion and absolutely unprofessional. Would not recommend this establishment.
