Frio Country Resort is a family-owned destination along the beautiful Frio River, welcoming families, friends, and groups for generations. The incredible location offers a cozy, chill resort community with great accommodations, including clean and comfortable rooms and cabins, though cabins can sometimes have minor maintenance issues. The river is beautiful with plenty of space, refreshing in the Texas heat, and there is ample room for kids to play. Some guests note an entrance fee and mention that the driveway can be in bad condition. While service experiences like a misplaced cooler have occurred, guests often have a great time and make plans to return.

Stayed in cabin beach 2, lovely view of the river. Nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend going during the week in the fall.

Spent the weekend with a group of hunters, big club of about 240 people. Great accommodations, clean and comfortable rooms. Very close to the Frio, off peak season so nobody was there but our group. October and we still sat in the River, minimal flow but very refreshing in the Texas Heat.
