First off DO NOT , I repeat DO NOT GO HERE! I am beyond dumbfounded at the women behind the counter this morning 8-24-23. According to the Medicare website, this place was on the list for DME! I saw they were right near Sams club so we went in with our prescriptions the doctor gave me for the items I needed after my hip surgery. I started that our conversation with good morning how are you? I’m looking for some DME as a commode she abruptly said are you renting or buying? I said I don’t know I have a prescription she said AND again are you renting or buying? I said, what does the prescription say! ma’am all I need to know if you are renting or buying. I took the prescription out of her hand and said “ no wonder you have horrible reviews! I will notify Medicare to take you off the list ?♀️?♀️

This is the only place that I could find that does repairs on rollators. I have an expensive rollator that needed bolts to be tightened and brakes to be adjusted which needed special tools. They did the repairs in about an hour for a reasonable price. Saved from having to buy a new one.

Between myself and a case worker, we had to call them 6 times about receiving our fax. Every single time they were abrupt and then outright rude. I recommend contacting another company for the care of your family members. I certainly did.

Sandi went out of her way to help me with a cane and rollator bought elsewhere. She even took the Rollator out of the car and put it back in for me. She also helped me with a back brace. I will certainly return to the store if I need any other items.

I received excellent customer service regarding my issue with a lift chair purchased elsewhere. Steve returned my phone calls in a timely manner inaddition to doing research into solving my issue. I would highly recommend this business.

So glad we found A-Med. My mother's hospital bed hasn't been functioning properly and we've called and left messages with the manufacturer for months- seriously. I finally decided to call an independent medical supply and maybe they could point me in the right direction. And here's where our knight in shining armor comes in. STEVE showed up the NEXT DAY and got us a temporary fix til we can get the parts to do the actual fix. Friday was the temporary fix and Monday he did the permanent fix. After months of my mother and I trying to get help from the manufacturer, Leggett and Platt, STEVE AT A-MED SAVED US!! I really can't say enough to praise them. So nice and genuinely compassionate. Any medical supply needs we need, we will ONLY go through A-MED.

The owner Sandy should consider retiring. She is not current on regulations and Medicare requirements. She lacks basic people and professional skills. A- Med supply is not recommended to provide any medical supplies or equipment. The owner is encouraged to take a professional seminar on current regulations and better business practices. Better yet, retire and spare society from your hostility and disdain.

A class act that is hard to compare with any other medical supply company. After having to advocate for myself for months, when the Phillips Resperonic Dreamstation CPAP was recalled in order to get a replacement CPAP machine , it was by no mistake I was directed to this company where Sandi Maner did more for me in less than 15 minutes than Day and Night who were the original DME that supplied my CPAP. I learned Day and Night continued to bill Medicare for a machine I rightly refused to continue usage due to unexplained N/V, head aches, wheezing, sore throat, cough... Night and Day refused to assist me in getting a replacement CPAP. To be crystal clear they as well as my physician were all well aware of my issues resulting from using the machine. Sandi Maner from A-MED,INC knows more than most medical supply providers , and I am grateful for her assistance in this matter. I was instructed by Medicare to return my CPAP machine to the DME that supplied it to me as they were billing them (Medicare) every month even though I was not able to use it for months. In my desperation to alleviate the fatigue that resulted from not using the recalled CPAP machine , I even resorted to trying to use it intermittently, only to succumb to the recurrent N/V head ache, wheezing....needless to say I stopped using it completely after I realized more likely than not it was definitely from the CPAP machine. My symptoms have resolved as far as the N/V, head aches etc.... While the final outcome has yet to be fully resolved, I feel better knowing that Day and Night can no longer bill Medicare for a CPAP machine that THEY supplied , and continue billing for despite my pleas for a replacement CPAP. I will be doing future business with( A-MED,INC ) as Sandi Maner's competency, not to mention empathy exceeded my expectations after dealing with Day and Night. I want to thank Mrs.Sandi Maner , you are a Godsend. Not saying that lightly , as I believe people are placed in our life journey for a reason. Ordered a Cpap cleaner and waited weeks for it to come in .After 5 trips to the store after it was in the lady said it had been returned.I live 35 minutes away and they say they close at 3PM which they don’t . I showed up a few times earlier then 3pm to pick up my cleaner and they were closed .I received ONE call from this place and then they sent it back keeping my $275 .The woman was belligerent and used severalF bombs when I called her on her calling me several times which she did not .They called me once , said nothing about returning my cpap cleaner and keeping my money .I would never step foot back in this place if they were giving cpap cleaners away .

I had contacted about ten different Medical Supplies to try and get help to fix a broken Hospital bed for a 102 year old patient of mine. It is imperative that she has a functioning bed to give her the necessary care she needs.He took great interest and understood the urgency of the situation and helped the patient's daughter and I come up with a plan to try to get the bed repaired in the most timely manner.He came, examined the bed and diagnosed the problem quickly.Due to his years of experience he had the parts the he anticipated he might need and quickly repaired the bed.In Short, he was polite, professional, caring, concerned and knew what the Heck he was doing.I highly recommend Steve and A-Med Medical Supply without reservation.Adrian Goss MD
