AAA roadside assistance has gone downhill.

We needed help planning a summer cruise to Alaska. I quickly became lost in the maze of offers in the internet. I contacted Jessica of AAA and she hooked me up with Vernell who quickly sorted out and explained the options! I went to the business to sign some documents but it could have been done online. I chose to go to AAA for our trip and couldn't have been more pleased!!!!!

Wow!! The way it should be. Professional and friendly. Can't do enough to help you. I walked in to get a trip tick and walked out with car and home insurance. I am saving a bunch. Thank you Aaron and Nick!!!

We belong to AAA of Texas for many years and fortunately never had to use their services. That was until I took three grandchildren to a show at the NRG Stadium in Houston TX. As luck would have it when we're returned to the car after the show the battery was dead. Luckily, I had my AAA of Texas card with me and the AAA of Texas App on my phone and proceeded to try to contact them. How did they perform in this one chance in 20+ years to provide their emergency service? Well we received no service and not even the courtesy of a response on contacting them. The App did not work and gave an error message, something to the effect, "something's gone wrong" and call AAA instead. But no one would answer the phone, and the message was something to the effect "all agents were busy" and to use the App instead. After going through this cycle of AAA of Texas incompetence several times we gave up and hired Uber for a ride home leaving the car there until the next day. Not happy having been stranded with three grandchildren and no AAA of Texas service I called their office to complain. I explained to the individual about the lack of response and service that I'd been paying for for decades. The person who answered the phone showed no care so we canceled the membership. AAA of Texas couldn't deliver on a simple car battery jump for a long term customer. Don't fall for their advertising pretending they care about customers. They failed their one chance in decades to perform for us, they let us down, and didn't even apologize. Others may experience better luck than we did but we don't pay for good luck and no longer trust them. And, they want to sell us insurance too? Imagine trying to file a claim with their callous customer care people. That's the reality behind their slick advertising.

Nothing but good things to say about these folks. I needed an IDP and didn’t have my passport photos required but Rachel was very helpful and had no problem accommodating my needs. Was in and out in 10 minutes. This office is a well oiled machine.

We needed a tow, from a gas station in Willis, TX, and called in to AAA around 9:40pm and was told that we'd have a tow truck around 11:04 or 70min. We received a text at 9:49 confirming tow truck scheduled and dispatched. When a tow truck has not showed up and we'd not received a call or text with any status update we called 11:40pm. Their reasons was the station called for service for us never answered and they had no one in route. But they put another request in and we needed to call them back in another 30 min. to check status. I was furious and canceled the tow, had to get a ride home. We locked the car and put a note on it that tow truck never showed up and we'd be back to try again in the morning. It was poor and unprofessional service. I was shocked this was the kind of service that is paid for by a company like this. Total disregard for people! Strongly advise against paying for and using AAA.

I was a aaa member for the last 19 plus years but decided not to renew my membership as I was not using it. I was offered a new membership by aaa for discount and thought of joining again. I was not treated fairly when I visited this location recently. No smile in the faces and they were not willing to help. This location is open for business on Saturday and They were not in a mood to notarize a document And came up with a aaa policy of notarizing a parent consent document with both my and wife. Present with a state id and passport. I don’t have time to argue with them. I am not going to renew the membership as I am disappointed with the service

I would give negative stars if I could. My Jeep broke down near Houston TX around 330-4pm. I called AAA for a tow. They estimated it would be an almost 2 hours wait…fine. I understand Tow companies are busy especially during rush hour (at least I think they are?).After 2 hours I called AAA back. They stated the Tow driver broke down on their way to my Location. They asked if I wanted to send another company. I told them not yet. I asked for the tow companies number so I could call and see if they possibly had another truck in route. I didn’t want to start all over again. So I called the tow company. They tell me they have a screen shot (if I want it) of their driving declining AAA request for a tow after they broke down.I call AAA back. They have no clue what they’re doing. They say they didn’t know what happened and state they will send another company. I ask if I can leave my vehicle at the location with the keys (because it was hot and by this point had waited almost 3 hours) and they say yes.I go home and fall asleep. 6 hours later I wake up and call AAA because I still haven’t heard from them. They tell me no truck has arrived (9 hours after breaking down) and they will call me back with an ETA.AAA is almost as bad as centurlink when it comes to service. Unless you received AAA as a guest….I suggest you save your money and just pay for a Tow company when you break down.

I don't know why I pay for full coverage. Didn't help me at all. My husband backed up into my other car and just because my car was not on my car insurance. Mind you he is on my insurance, AAA can't pay to fix my other vehicle.??♀️??♀️ I'm not happy at all ?? But I do love roadside assistance that's the best part.??

Pervez Iqbal is the best insurance agent we ever had and we've had AAA for >10 years. We met with him at this office as a random agent and it has been great to have him through the year. He's responsive, very well informed, patient, and kind. Definitely ask for Pervez.
