I really appreciate how much they take care of us and make sure everything is taken care of. I do think the payments are a little crazy but I guess that’s why it’s a convenience thing for those of us that can’t afford it out right. But Jacob Parkin and Sam Goodrich were amazing and really made sure I got set up the day they told me they would. Even though two of the three dryers didn’t work they were super sweet about it and made sure they did everything they could to make sure I was set up. Sandy the sales rep I worked with was also amazing. She just was so sweet and helpful as well. It was pretty fast when I was dealing with her. Thanks yall for making y’all’s store awesome.

One Star – Terrible Experience at the Conroe, TX Store
I rarely leave reviews, but my experience on March 17, 2025, at the Conroe, TX Aaron’s store was so bad, I had to speak up.
Sam, who says he’s the manager or maybe even the general manager (not sure who he really is), has zero people skills. He talks to customers rudely and condescendingly, like he's always right and everyone else is beneath him. It’s completely unprofessional and honestly, uncomfortable.
Then there’s Julie, who is supposed to be the sales manager, but she’s clearly afraid of Sam. She outright lied just to keep him from getting mad, and that kind of behavior is not acceptable in any business.
Whoever hired Sam as any kind of manager seriously needs to rethink that decision. And Julie, unfortunately, is no better because of how dishonest she is. I’ve already written a letter to corporate and I truly hope some changes are made soon.
Until then, I won’t be stepping foot in that store again.

Julie went above and beyond to help us get our fridge as soon as possible since she understood how inconvenient it was to not have a fridge. She was able to get it to us the next day.

I had called the store in Conroe on 3/12/2024 and Sandy answered the phone and was very rude and disrespectful when I was trying to explain to her that I had made a 5.00 payment because that was all I was able to pay at the moment due to things coming up and not being able to do a full amout I had asked y the payment did not show up on my account and when I told her I wasn't going to be able to pay until my next pay check she said that they could take the laptop back until we're able to make a payment when we're not at that point and I'm trying to work with her and let her know what's going on and what I have paid and she tried getting a hold of me but every time she calls she calls me when I'm at work and can not answer the phone and she refused to listen and hear what I was try to explain to her like she didn't care what I had to say I'm not gonna keep putting up with the disrespect from this individual she has done this more then onceon top of her being argumentive over the phone like she couldn't understand or comprehend what I was trying to explain to her

We have a unique living situation in our empty house for sale. I called and spoke with Julie, the sales manager about a very short term furniture lease. She was able to come up with a plan that works for us, so I drove to the Conroe store and chose our furniture. They have quality items and fantastic customer service. The delivery and pick up will both be free of charge. I enjoyed talking with Julie and she obviously cared about the customer. I highly recommend this Aaron’s location for your furnishing requirements.

This review is specifically for the Aarons in Conroe, Texas. Buyers/renters beware and be aware. I’ve rented furniture from other Aaron’s stores in the past, the last time being about 6 years ago. So, I did not hesitate to go with them. Previously, all items were brand new, never rented, arriving in new packaging from the warehouse. The staff and delivery persons were friendly, attentive, and respectful at the Conroe store. The problem was with the sectional I ordered on a Monday before Thanksgiving and received Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. It was pre-rented and I was in a pinch. My daughter was about to sit down on Thanksgiving day and there was a roach on the back of the couch. We were all shocked because this apartment is treated regularly to prevent insect problems. My second daughter saw a second roach, so now we’re freaking out. I know, we live in Texas, but I can’t STAND roaches or insects in my house which is why the apartment is treated so often. The only thing new and different is this sectional. It’s Thanksgiving so everything is closed. I go to sleep and wake up in the middle of the night to get some water from the kitchen and there is an entire roach parade coming from underneath the chaise of the sectional. I lift up the cushion and there are roaches EVERYWHERE. So there I am at 1am killing roaches of all shapes and sizes. WTH! I can not describe how angry I was and still am. If the sectional wasn’t so heavy, it would have been outside for them to pick up. Now, I have to have my entire apartment treated because I don’t know how many tried to move in. 9am could not come fast enough. They came very quickly and offered to send another couch out but I told them I don’t trust ANYTHING from them now because of this sectional. I have to add that as I was looking on the sales floor on that Monday, there was a couch and love seat I was considering. I lifted up the cushions (like I always do when I buy or rent furniture) and there were crumbs, barrettes, fries, you name it under there. I should have left then but again I was in a pinch since I was hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the first time since my mother died. It did not ruin our Thanksgiving, as we laughed, reminisced, cried, enjoyed our day anyway. But this was and is DISGUSTING to deal with. Unfortunately the practices at this store are obviously not clean or preventative.

Was just one the phone with there sales manager who kept trying to talk over and around me when all I was seeking was a simple yes or no answer I have been a customer of the Conroe store for years and am upset to the point right now that I've got half a mind to return all the stuff I have of there's ( over $500) still on monthly she was that rude

The lady that was helping me was extremely rude. Acted like I was just bothering her asking questions about a refrigerator. She was very, just not friendly at all and acted like it was killing her to walk across the room to measure it for me. Then when they told me they could order it and have it in by Thursday, she acted like they couldn’t order it on Monday, but the guy had already told me they could order it before the cut off on Monday. Everything seemed like it was a problem to her will never go back. I don’t know what her name was, but she was a Large Hispanic lady. I finally told her you know if this is such a problem I will give my business to someone else. She never said anything and I walked out. Beware ! Aaron’s do better hire people who are good at customer service.

I have not been able to reach the store. When I call I get the Aaron's recording but when transferring to an agent the call goes to a private party. Another store tried to call it as well and got the same issue.

These folks at Conroe TX .... They r very rude and if u r late and make arrangements they beat on ur door like they r cops . I am sick and have told them & plus called store to have it stop but they will not stop. I owe 16.00 & they r acting like I robbed a bank and they r cops ...
