Driver hit and broke out basketball hoop during a delivery (which they let get down to about 2% on automatic delivery). He didn’t even tell me when I said goodbye to him at the end of the driveway (I had just gotten home). After repeated calls and emails to AmeriGas, we are still waiting for resolution. Very unhappy with customer service and accuracy of their automatic delivery algorithm.

Their customer service line is horrible, you can’t speak to anyone in America. Once I was deliberately hung up on and the other, the agent couldn’t find our account and she pretended she couldn’t hear me and hung up. Absolutely horrible service from Amerigas’s customer service lineTheir technicians and drivers are great but the fact that we can’t talk to anyone in the actual Conroe office is infuriating.

Absolutely horrendous. You cant ever speak to anyone at the locations, its some clueless person at a call center overseas. There is some sort of communication disconnect between the people that do the work and these customer service people.After 7 years, with 0 notice, Amerigas just stopped showing up to deliver bottles to my business. The person at the call center tells me they are no longer doing a delivery schedule but that you have to call for each propane delivery.They charge hundreds of dollars to come fix THIER OWN leaky tanks and charge at least double what other services do for gas.This obviously doesn't work for me. I told Amerigas to cancel my account and come get their tanks. Instead of doing that, they send 100$ service charge for some unknown reason.I cant imagine Amerigas will be in business much longer at this rate. When something is a crucial part of a business (my business is dead in the water without forklifts) it is absolutely unacceptable to not be able to directly interface with the service provider.

They won't give you the cost to refill a 20lb tank unless you go though their verification process and open account...

These guys are horrible!! I have 3 tanks at my home and they always fill up the wrong one!! I have 2- 250 gallons and 1- 500 gallon. Big difference!! Now we have a cold front coming and I have no gas to cook or heat my house with!! I have a small child 3 months old and we are a family of 4. We payfor a service so they automatically come and check our house tank and they obviously don't care to check the sizes of the tanks. Because now I am sitting here with this problem!!! So frustrating!!!! On top of that... they are telling me I need to have a inspection on my tank done before they can refill it!!?? When it's not my problem that they can't inspect it. I am soo done with these these yahoos!!! Stay away from Amerigas!!! They don't even speak good English for god sake!!!! Anyone know a company that services Magnolia Tx. area???please help!!!

This is the second time we have run out of propane with no one to refill. Mind you we are on automatic refill and pay. We called over 5 times to let them know we are at zero propane and no one had come to refill. Every time we called we spoke with someone who seemed clueless. We are now moving to a different service. Overall, the bad service far outweighs the good unfortunately.

They used to be a good company. They've become quite possibly the worst company. We've used AmeriGas for years. We are on the metered service. They read the meter and check your propane level each month. They keep the tank full and we never run out of propane. Until a month ago when we ran out of propane! Called AmeriGas and they are so sorry. Six days later a guy comes out to fill the tank. He gets 4 gallons in and finds out the tank seals are leaking. He said, although AmeriGas disputes this, that it's because the tank sat empty it caused the seals to leak. Now it doesn't matter to me one way or the other how or why it's leaking. The tank, the seals and the meter all belong to AmeriGas and are all maintained by them. It's almost a month now with no propane. I've called 18 times. I've talked to everyone from a customer service rep to the resolutions department. I've been promised I would get a call from the service department 6 times. I've been assured this was going to be handled ASAP. Not one person has called. Not one person has showed up to make the repairs to the tank. In the mean time they have managed to send me a bill for last months propane usage. I bet if I don't pay it they'll call me. It's obvious that this company doesn't care about their customers anymore. It's a huge hassle to switch propane companies, AmeriGas knows this. I'd have already done so if it was something I could do easily. If I were a new customer looking for a propane company I'd stay away from AmeriGas and consider a different company.

Worst company ever, customer service is horrible. We waited two weeks for a technician to come and repair our tank but because the customer service representatives are so terrible they gave the technician the wrong information. Even when the technician did come he did not have the right equipment to fix but told us the tank was unrepairable anyway and to call customer service representative again and tell them we wanted to rent a tank. Even after call and tell them about the replacement tank that was still weeks ago and we have not heard anything and when we call they just repeat the same script over and over again. Amerigas has great service technicians but the 3rd party customer service representatives are terrible. After contacting a manager and letting them know how disappointed we have been with their service they cancel out tank rental and charged me even though they didn't do anything. It is mid December and cold in Texas but they act like they don't understand or don't care. I have two small children and we need heat which means we have to try and find another company that can repair tanks and fast.

AmeriGas is the single worst company I have EVER dealt with. 4 times I scheduled installation, 4 times stood up without even a courtesy call. When I call, there operator says, "sorry, they were too busy". 4 months, still no tank install and they certainly didn't hesitate to charge me for there tech to visit. Read the Google reviews....the SUCK!

They came to my trailer house and pulled in the front yard after it has been raining for days and rutted up my yard. I've called them probably 6 times and never got a phone call back

Quick, excellent service. Cannot explain how appreciative I am of AmeriGas. I have a child with special needs and two elderly parents in my home and they made sure to get my gas tank refilled in a heartbeat. You have a customer for life. Thank you!

They are totally incompetent. They will bill you and even though you pay well before the due date they send you a past due statement that is even dated before your due date.Oh and try calling CS and see how many times they disconnect you after they keep you on hold for 20 minutes.

I have been with AmeriGas Propane for the past 8 years and I am happy with there service and help with repair and insulation of my whole house 24 kw generator.THEY ALSO CAME AND CHANGE MY NEW KITCHEN RANGE FROM NATURAL GAS TO PROPANE AND HAD IT WORKING GREAT BEFORE THEY LEFT.
