Don't usually write reviews, but this sales associate Lazerick is an awful person. Went to exchange four sweatpants that was ordered online from a large to extra large. One was exchanged and ended up purchasing a different color, and some candy. Now for the three other exchanges she tells me that they smell like marijuana, I said WHAT?!? I don't even smoke. I did tell her this is BS. Mind you the one that was exchanged which was the top pair should have reeked with the smell of marijuana, if this was the case. I asked for a manager and he also said they had a smell but not marijuana. Furthermore, all black people do not smoke and we DO NOT in my household. I am very tempted to have blood work conducted to disprove this frivolous accusation from the cashier/manager and have the clothing tested for residual substances. This seems like a very good law suit. Racial profiling, and diversity training should be implemented.
I will never shop or spend a dollar at this establishment again. I hope this makes it to corporate. I will also be reaching out to corporate. People never know who they encounter.

I visited the location-Conroe 336 to return two online items and had a very disappointing experience. The cashier helping me left my transaction without saying anything to assist another employee, and I was left waiting while the other customer even suggested they help me first. When the second cashier Kiara took over, her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. The interaction felt disorganized and disrespectful. Customers deserve better service and communication. This location would benefit from stronger customer service training.

MADI was great!! There was a cup I was looking for and they didn’t have it in store, when I asked Madi if they had it in stock she immediately looked it up for me. She helped me right away with ordering it online! She had GREAT customer service and answered all my questions. 🤩

I was extremely disappointed by the Dick's Sporting Goods near Lake Conroe. This location is far too small for the area, and the inventory is sparse and inefficient. The selection was poor across the board, but the fishing department was particularly terrible. Given the lake's proximity, I expected robust choices, but the shelves were bare. The lack of decent stock was consistent everywhere. I won't be returning here.

My work bought 20 people new shoes for a gift. They asked our shoes size but didn’t tell us the brand. They got us all Hoka’s nice shoes but the run big on me. The only shoes I would size down for. I tried to return them and they said not without the receipt. I reached out to out DON to be able to exchange them and she didn’t have the corporate receipt. So they said sorry we can’t return these and there is nothing anyone can do to help you with this further. You can file a complaint but no one will change anything for you. Sorry.
So heads up for Christmas. If your family/friend doesn’t have the receipt they will not be able to return what you get them if it doesn’t work out. Don’t shop here.

Rob in the Bike Department made custom adjustments to my bike after I discovered that the handlebars were too low. Best customer service I have encountered at a sporting goods store. Thanks!

HORRIBLE for customer service! Do not purchase sports Jersey’s from this store. They will not honor the product if you need to exchange/return -specifically for defective product concerns. Tried to blame it on it being worn or taken care of incorrectly (washed wrong). Product was worn twice, washed twice. Not my first rodeo with jerseys. $175.00+ tax and thread coming loose in different spots. Ridiculous. This is Store# 1384 in Conroe.
FYI: Each store decides individually how they want to handle these types of returns. I hear that purchasing online your treated differently.
Either way, I will not purchase another item from this chain because of this one experience. Hope I helped save other customers from making the same mistake with this review. Find another retail vendor - there are plenty to choose from!

Stepped out the door for a rod and reel combo they had on sale which turned into a mission. All I can say is Christian is a top notch employee and took care of me from the min I stepped foot into their store. Definitely would recommend.

Mr. Mike in golf surpassed my expectations when it came to my first ever club fitting. He’s very knowledgeable and taught me a lot while getting me dialed in on a new driver and vice versa. As a beginner, he made me feel comfortable and at ease. New club purchase was worth every penny just to do business with him.

The few times I've been to this store, I never find what I need. Went today in the afternoon because I saw some sales they were having, but there's no support or retail service to find the items I want....better to look at other retailer options
