We hired GAAP to transition our books to them. It wasn't a good fit, so we went with a different bookkeeper. Now they are insisting that we pay $300 and threatening to take us to collections on work that was not done. As a matter of fact, we had to pay the new bookkeeper to do the work again.This is not the way to treat people. If it didn't work out, it didn't work out. You were paid for the work you completed. You will not be paid for the work not completed.
