The gym is clean. The people running the kids play room are always welcoming and friendly. I'm a new member and my biggest complaint is that any time I go to the front desk no matter how many of the guys are up there they all stare at me like I'm bothering them and continue to ignore me. We stood there for a full 2 minutes today before one of the guys finally said "what's up" after looking at us and then walking away to continue his conversation with coworkers before. If it was a one off thing I wouldn't even leave a review but it's been every single visit it's like that. I've only had one person up front that showed good customer service and that was Josh. Other than that they treat the regular gym members like a bother. I see them interact great with the people you can tell are basically pros at the gym.

I am an active duty local recruiter. The military pays for my gym membership, this gym received a check for the next six months and still didn’t want to sign me and my wife up because they say they will only sign the service member even though they got paid for both of us. When I told them they need to refund the check, they said they couldn’t because it was already at corporate so, they literally stole money and refuse to give it back. Too bad I can’t give 0 stars.Update: to answer their reply. Every second from the moment I walked in the gym and spoke to one of the managers, they new it was for the 2 people. In fact, the paperwork that they filled out to request the check was for two people and I have it, it was signed and filled out by them. I tried explaining the situation to your guys at the front desk and they still refused to help me. If I pay you six months in advance and you don’t honor my membership, should I not be upset?

It’s a very clean and well-kept gym. Even the community here is very nice and well-mannered. Employees are very helpful and always greet you as you walk in. Additionally, I even recommended this gym to my friends :)

I’m posting on behalf of a situation that keeps happening to my mother. Your employee, Lamar, has been extremely rude to her since she’s became a member. Specifically, today, she asked for assistance on trying to find a specific squat machine. He made her feel so small. Belittled, unintelligent, etc.. She’s not very experienced in the gym. We used to go to the Magnolia location all the time, until I moved to a powerlifting-specific gym. She transferred to the Conroe location and has never had many positive things to say. So that being said, making my mother cry over just trying to find a machine is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. We have tried calling to talk to a manager, and guess who answers? Lamar. Guess who hangs up on us and refuses to let us speak to a manager? Lamar. I don’t know what this person’s problem is, but I promise you it will not be with my mother. I need a manager to contact me as soon as possible regarding your horrible employee. There is absolutely NO REASON to be so rude to somebody that’s just trying to better themselves. There are no stupid questions in this industry. Fitness Project: Magnolia would never. Texas Iron Republic WOULD NEVER (my gym). You should be absolutely freaking ashamed of yourself, Lamar. People like you are the reason some people are so intimidated by the gym. Absolutely disgusting.

SUPER big fan of how this gym will chase you out 5 minutes before closing by turning the music all the way up and clapping their hands at you like psychopaths. I can totally understand being rude to your customers when the gym is ACTUALLY closed, but this seems excessively uncool. Talk to your employees, please and thank you.

This gym has decent equipment, I've been a member for 2 years, they are nothing but a hastle! My honest main complaint is there payment process and the software they use, and for the cost and the hastle, it's a rip off!It's a by weekly charge there apparently even though I used to get charged 1 time per month now for some reason twice, and for $60 a month, for an over crowded gym and workers who have little knowledge with the software and system being used? Lol I think over priced is what they are, manager is nice, workers not so much, you want to cancel your membership? Good luck! Took me over a month to finally cancel my membership, you might want to keep a card on file to so they don't mess your credit score up, you have to buy out of it, worst part is, my membership ends in 2 days and I just got a charge as if I'm paying for the next month or shall I say (2 weeks) lol, what a joke, to much false promises, and terrible attitudes, I cannot wait to switch gyms! I will not be returning to this location or any other "fitness project" locations! I've been trying to cancel this membership for 2 months dang near! They definitely suck you in!

Went to cancel my membership a month before our contract ended (I thought it had already ended, but wasn’t sure), the employee told us it would be better for us to wait another month so that we would avoid the $100 cancellation fee - since we were still under contract. So we waited, longer than we needed to. Now they tell me they have to submit a “cancellation request” whatever that is supposed to mean, and it will take 30 days. First of all, why do you have to REQUEST cancellation? This implies that it needs to be determined whether or not I can cancel…. Which doesn’t make any sense. And in the mean time they are going to take an additional $50 from me…. But if they told me this when I originally tried to cancel (a month before the contract ended) then we wouldn’t have this problem. I’m pretty upset, I feel like I got scammed, and they definitely don’t care about their customers.Aside from that: Wonder gym, nice equipment, very clean. But honestly I can’t overlook this issue with the cancellation scams, I will never return to this gym.

I highly recommend Project fitness for a well managed training facility. They greet you with a smile and are extremely helpful to make the sign in process as simple as possible. Canyon and his team are professional and definitely go the extra mile for customer satisfaction!! So proud to be a member of such a great fitness organization…Lisi❤️

I’m here a few times every week. I take team training and occasionally yoga. The trainers are great! The manager is super friendly and always smiling. There is always a lady walking around cleaning the whole time, i don’t think I’ve ever not seen her there. The new turf is awesome for classes and they’ll be getting all new treadmills soon. My son loves the “indoor playground” that is the childcare and the girls that work in there are the nicest! Very attentive as well.

I love coming to this gym, it’s definitely not as busy during the time-frame I go compared to the other locations. Staff is always super friendly and welcoming, especially Canyon! The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, but I do wish that the Sauna was fixed But, everyone here rocks and the atmosphere is fun and overall is a great gym!

This has been the best gym I’ve ever been to. From the front desk and managers to the kids club staff, everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful. My kids LOVE the kids club at this location, it’s huge and the staff is consistent so my kids are very comfortable going! The fitness class coaches are knowledgeable and welcoming to everyone. I could go on and on about this location!

I have been going to this gym for a while now and have been so happy with my experience! I love the workout classes! The instructors are great, the community is strong and I get a great workout every time I go. I love the big smiles and warm welcomes every time I walk in. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Great gym!!

I have been continuously being charged after I had confirmation of my account being canceled due to moving out of state..... YET, I was charged again for a membership TODAY! I have called this gym SEVERAL times, and they directed me to a different company for billing to which they have ALSO CONFIRMED my cancellation........

Great staff and atmosphere. The daycare is an absolute plus for me and my husband. Our daughter loves the daycare. There is a great variety of free weights and machines.

Phenomenal gym!! Very clean and inviting. A lot of classes to choose from and all the instructors are awesome. The manager is SO friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
