Horrible experience. Tried to buy a 2021 Honda CR-V EX with 16k miles today, November 17, 2023. Internet price was $26,995. Test drove it. Window sticker was $30,995 with additional $3000 for Apex add ons, for a total now of $33,991. I told preowned sales person "Brett", internet price was $26,995 not $30,995. "Really? They must have slashed internet prices overnight". Really Brett, you're going with that story! I was born at night, but it wasn't last night! Lots of back and forth between Brett and Sales manager Rodney, typically car sales garbage. Told Brett I was leaving to look at a 2021 Touring at Gillman Honda. "What can we do to get you to buy this vehicle today?" "Honor you published internet price and remove all the Apex add ons". Brett goes back to sales mgr Rodney, Brett comes back "Good news, we removed all the add ons but the $499 windshield protection." My response "Tell Rodney I wasn't up for this type of runaround, and tell Rodney's boss he just lost a $27k sale over $499 Apex windshield up-charge, and I don't ever want to do business with Keating. A hour later, I purchased the Touring CRV from an Ex-Marine, Robert Z, at Gillman Honda. Gillman was much better to do business with. Ask for Robert Z, awesome human being, great salesman, and a pleasure to work with.On the way to Gillman, I received 3 different texts from Brett, Rodney and Internet mgr "Come back! Good news, we won't charge for the Apex windshield coating. Seriously, I'll never set foot in Keating again!

I took the advice of the dealership and am in a crappy situation because of it. To protect themselves, they advised me to make a financial decision I did not want to - with the assurance that I could easily modify the arrangement on my own post-sale.It turned out not to be easy. I needed help from the dealership to get to the payment plan I wanted, and should have had on day one. Instead of the help they assured me, I was ignored by everyone from my dealer to the GM - until I changed my Google review from 5 stars to 1.After asking them to make up for the undue mess I found myself in, the dealership's response was that "I'm upset about something they couldn't control and am asking them to fix something that is not their fault."I made a decision relying on their advice. When it turned out not to work for me, they said "we simply presented you with options" and "didn't force me to do anything." Perhaps that's true, but you should be aware of their refusal of accountability for their own advice. It may be blunt, but it's honest. They're more than happy to tell me what I should think and how I should feel now that they've sold me the car, and expect me to listen. But when they were doing the same thing during the sales process, it was my fault for listening.

Worst Honda place I can go too. Keating Honda is always the worst experience! I've purchased my vehicle from Honda in Corpus Christi and it's always something when I go to the keating Honda ! Always looking up my information wrong. Always telling me my coverage is wrong. Always something! Horrible establishment and the people working feel entitled that they know everything because they been working there for so long ! The whole service department! My tire should have been $150 off. Instead they told me I'd have to go online and file a claim to receive the $150 off my tire. Never have heard of that and I've been a loyal Honda customer ever since I purchased my 21 civic sport cash in Corpus Christi ! I recently went to corpus and had a blow out again due to a pot hole. Took it to Honda in corpus and had NO ISSUES AT ALL. SIMPLE. EASY. WARRENTY LOOKED UP, EASY. SAW MY COVERAGE. Took the $150 off my tire since my vehicle had the tire warranty through Honda. Idk why my experience is always awful when I go in for a routine check up or when I need keating Honda help for a tire! So back and forth there. They couldn't even call there own Honda in corpus to verify anything ! I do not recommend Honda in keating at all and this is coming from a fair loyal customer! Thank you Honda Corpus Christi for always making my trip easy. Friendly and FAST! Blows my mind how my experiences were so different and I've gone to both many times for my vehicle maintenance. Honda is the only place I take my car ! Paid over 250+ at Honda keating. For same exact thing in Corpus Christi I paid $85!!!!!!

This buying experience, especially compared to my recent buying experience at the abysmal Keating Toyota in Manvel, was most pleasant and efficient. I was there to help my son purchase his first car, a '23 Honda Civic Sport Touring. Doha, our sales representative, was friendly, efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. We couldn't ask for, or expect, a better experience with a front line salesperson. Mr. Cahill, in finance, worked hard to get us a workable deal. He was hindered by his company's poor choice to load the car with dealer added "value" that neither I, nor many customers, would choose. They add these Apex options before the car is made available for purchase, then it is posed as if you have no choice. These add-ons push the MSRP up thousands of dollars even before TT&L. This is an unfair, and obviously very profitable for the dealership, sales tactic that hurts the consumer. Then when my son goes to the Apex app, he reads poor review after poor review of their very expensive GPS feature. Other than this poor business practice (that had nothing to do with the two men we dealt with) it was a 5-Star experience. Even late on a Saturday, we were treated fairly and our time was honored. Well done.

After going back and forth attempting to purchase a vehicle with this dealership I decided not to purchase. They have vehicles listed on their website at one price but if you're not willing to purchase thousands of dollars of unnecessary add-ons all of sudden the price of the vehicle price increases substantially. Had the same kinda issue with their other Toyota dealership in Manville. They really try to sqeeze every last penny out of a customer. Was told by the salesman that Mr Keating requires them to stick things like Window insurance and LoJack on every vehicle and that it cannot be removed. We all know that's false and purely a cash grab for a stealership. If you're looking for a good deal this isn't the place.

Do not trust their car price quote. After many visits had settled on a vehicle and was interested to move forward with it. We called the day of and reconfirmed twice what the price would be of the vehicle not including tax title license. We reconfirmed the price twice and made arrangements to handle the kids while we took care of the car.Once we arrived we were thrilled to find out that the price that was agreed on was completely incorrect and they were adding a bunch of dealer ads on which was going to push the price up about $2000. They seemed absolutely shocked and upset when we didn't move forward with the car. I was absolutely so annoyed to have wasted my time with this dealership and mess up our plans.I understand the car game and looking to make a profit but I do not agree at any point to having someone blatently lie to you. A company will never earn or keep my business that way and I have no intention of ever returning here.Their excuse was that on the website it says somewhere that there's dealer ads on every vehicle which is fantastic except we verbally called twice to verify the price. We immediately left and went to a completely different dealership and were able to purchase our car that we are now very happy with from Fred Haas Toyota.

We brought our Mom's Honda Pilot in for some extensive service and repair items of concern. Kevin Bernard, the service associate we were assigned, was up front about the repairs and the costs. I'm very happy with the work they did. When we went to pick the car up, Kevin went through everything thoroughly and patiently (we had questions... lots of questions... hahahaha, who doesn't?). And learned something new! You can go there and learn something new, too!My only complaint?I wisht they'd work on my brokedown raggedy ass Ford. In Prescott, Arizona.Where I live. But, consolation prize, they got Mom's back.Kinda means more....Thanks y'all!

Honestly, if you wanna buy a car and have an amazing customer service, this is the dealership. We worked with TIM HALLOWAY, and honestly, he's the absolute best!! He is not only genuine and honest, but he also understand and cater exactly to your needs. He goes above and beyond to get you the car that you want, he makes the process very smooth, and he is very transparent about the pros and cons of the deal. It really changed my car buying experience forever. Other dealerships need more Tim's to sell their cars. Whenever you come in, ask for Tim and I promise you will not regret it!

I really love this dealership for not returning my calls and texts after I told them I was having problems with my steering wheel getting stuck and not being able to loosen it after working a 12 hour shift. None of my wonderful co-workers could help me and were perplexed. My Daddy said just to take it back to the dealership and not to pay a red time and they better fix it completely. Since I just bought this 2020 less than three months ago it is so disappointing that I'm having a problem with this car already. They knew there was a problem because it has to be inspected before they sold it and it seemed like they DIDN'T CARE since they knew I was going to buy it. I really like my car but golly. I just bought it.I have to say this although I don't like to for businesses but DO NOT GET A CAR FROM HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT. DO NOT GO HERE. GO TO SOMEWHERE WITH A BETTER REPUTATION. Cars are expensive right now so go somewhere you don't have to bring the car back less than three months. They are super nice to you when you buy a car then they don't answer the phone. I actually have many colleagues that need a car or want to buy one for thier children but I'm sending them somewhere else. No thank you to this place at all!

I am only giving 1 giving 1 star because I had to in order to post this review. The man who sold me my car is now the General Manager, Mike Boston. The dealership did ALL of my repairs. When it turned out that it needed a $6000 repair because they had put a bandaid on it instead of fixing it correctly (OR offering for me to pay the difference between what Honda did pay for and a true repair), the dealership lied and told me that the GM for the College Station Keating would call me and handle everything on the purchase of my new vehicle being discounted for the FUBAR.Keating-Lies.comBad Bull from an Aggie-owned company.
