They don't like paying employees, so they try to funnel everyone through self checkout. It takes forever and it's a pain in the , especially when you have a lot of stuff. When you go to HEB they have every register open and the employees are usually nice.

Beware shoppers! Especially in reduced products such as meats. I have witnessed meat department employees rewraping items put out for sale with holes or defects in packaging when they are brought to their attention. Reduced prices are not reduced as much as before.

My recent experience at the Kroger location left much to be desired. Not only was I overcharged for my groceries, but the customer service I received was disheartening. Despite my polite greetings, the white workers at the store met me with cold stares and failed to acknowledge me. This lack of basic courtesy coupled with their reluctance to engage in any form of interaction left me feeling unwelcome and marginalized. As a black American, I couldn't help but wonder if the overcharging was intentional, fueled by underlying biases. The glaring discrepancy in treatment based on race was unmistakable and deeply troubling. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior in this day and age, and it certainly tarnished my perception of the Kroger brand.

We've lived in the area almost a year now. This is my favorite grocery store in town. The produce is great and always looks well organized. The floral section is also very nice and I love the selection and smells right when I walk in. I don't always get coffee but when I do it's amazing. We get a lot of the meats when on sale and they are tasty. The only downside is some of the carts need maintenance oland cleaning on the wheels, but this is typical of most of the Kroger stores I've visited. Also kinda bummed they don't have the miniature carts for little kids!! Our old Kroger store had a lot and we would go early in the morning and our little ones could grab their own cart and feel like they were helping me shop.

I’ve lived over in this area for about 2 years now and come to this location a lot due to the fuel rewards and friendly staff. I go to the fuel station about 2 to 3 times a week and two employees there always are so friendly and kind. Cynthia and Nikki are the two employees that a lot of the locals know and engage in conversation with. They are always very friendly, quick and do a great job keeping the station looking clean and organized! Nikki is the only employee I have ever seen there actually clean and scrub the pumps clean which is greatly appreciated as to how nasty some pumps can get. I have also noticed Nikki is always quick to come out of the gas station cashier box to help customers at the pump instead of making the customer walk back and forth for any issues they are having at the pump. I also LOVE the amazing plant selection they have! They always have the coolest tropical plants and the prices are great! Definitely the nicest, cleanest, most organized Kroger’s I have ever been to in my life time!!!

I went to purchase a box of Allegra-D at the pharmacy register and this individual asked me for my Identification which I know that’s the company’s policy but after giving my Identification back to me he then asked me “If I Was A Law Abiding Citizen”.. Wait what!?!? In all the years as a loyal customer with Kroger I’ve never been so insulted and discriminated. I went home feeling really disturbed. I decided to take action and call to speak to the manager and made a complaint. Manager said she was going to handle it which I hope she did. Even though I’m still taking this to corporate because everyone in there covers each others back.

This Kroger is slowly gone downhill. Idk who’s managing the front but it’s a disaster? I spent $115 today. Needed $4.25 change. Cashier doesn’t have change, who btw doesn’t greet or say hello. The front spends the next 10 min figuring out how to get change?? First off the cashier should be alert enough to call for change but she didn’t. Dumb. Train your people. The black girl wearing a red vest no help. She’s clueless, and is not customer friendly. She looked like a deer in the headlights. Now comes a Manager by the name of Hailey. Looks 12. She tells me they’re trying to get my change but they’re running a “recycler”??? What? Not my problem. And why are you running that in the busiest time of day? Hailey also looked frazzled and struggled to get into a register for $4!!! Kroger. Keep a manager up front to run for change when needed! Train your cashiers to call for change so customers don’t have to wait unnecessary wait times!Kroger needs to do something about this store. Don’t hire people just bc their breathing. They have to have a basic skill set to do the job. None of these individuals today possess any type of service skills what so ever.I bet your Q vision is awful too

Curbside employees seem to never have their job under control. Your job is to read, scan, and pack up….it’s really not that difficult. Pretty annoying that almost every time we curbside with this location something is wrong, missing, or expired. Curbside is used for convenience so imagine how inconvenient it is to have an issue with your order almost every single time. Maybe hire people that can read and do the job correctly instead of being lazy.

The store management is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well maintained. Has a wide variety of toys, clothes, shoes, as well as many cultural ingredient choices. They have a great cheese shop and wine selection.

Today, my elderly mother was treated extremely rude by a cashier named Lisa. Lisa did NOT greet us when we walked up to her line, yet she continued to have a conversation with the individual that was bagging the groceries. She was very dissimive bc my mother was unaware of how to use the new digital coupons. My mother tried to give her the coupons after the transaction. Lisa's response was "Oh well, you're supposed to do it before I start scanning your items." I then explained to her that this was my mother's 1st time using the digital coupons and was unaware of the process that needed to be taken. After she scanned the groceries she refused to take the additional steps to show my elderly mother what she did wrong and instructed the woman (Angela) that was assisting with bagging up the groceries to show my mother what she needed to do. While Angela was correcting the bill, the line began to get long (2 additional customers), and Lisa said, "Look, now we have a long line, go help them somewhere else." While Lisa was saying that she pushed our belongings out the way and started scanning the next customer's items. At that point, I then had to bag up the rest of my mother's groceries and place them into her cart bc it was clearly obvious that Lisa no longer cared about my mother's items. We went to another line where Angela made the adjustments to the bill as well as showed my mother how to clip her coupons for the future. Moving forward, I would greatly appreciate it if ALL of your cashiers displayed the same level of customer service as Angela. I would advise you all to conduct custom service training and/or give your cashiers a refresher course. No elderly person should ever be mistreated because they were unaware of Kroger's new policies.
