I was glad to find a bank from back home New Orleans here. It’s close to my house, it’s convenient for me. Anytime, I go to the bank, I get greeted with a smile and a teller ready for me at the counter.

If you're looking for a bank whose on-site staff are the ones answering your phone calls, this is the bank for you. No robot customer service, no call centers, there's not even a directory. You call and somebody competent answers your call and assists you. Also their banker, Ty, is very knowledgeable about finance in general and is very helpful and good at representing customers best interest.

Bank employees very rude. Jennifer and other employee that did not share her name. Lost of words for how they acted. Would not bank at these. Chase and other better establishments way much better class and respect.

Customer service is ok, but drivethru states open until 5:30pm on Friday. I feel a business should honor those hours until closing time which states 5:30pm. Clerk working drivethru requested an earlier deposit. This is not the first time I have visited with the drivethru open light being turned off at 5:15pm if not earlier. This most certainly isn’t a positive view for customers who choose this bank. Felt this should be shared and hope this branch shows more appreciation and value for customers they do have.

UPDATE....NOW IT'S 4 OUT OF 6 TIMES that they applied it to the wrong part of the account!!! IF YOU WANT TOTALLY STUPID AND INCOMPETENT TELLERS THIS IS THE PERFECT BANK FOR YOU!! I do not understand WHY it is so difficult to make a PRINCIPAL ONLY PAYMENT. OVER AND OVER AND OVER again I go into the bank to make a PRINCIPAL ONLY Payment on my mortgage, say it repeatedly, they assure me it is going to only the principal and then I get my statement and they apply it to my monthly payment and the remainder to principal. This has happened 3 TIMES OUT OF 5!!!!!!!!!!!!! This bank is awful, how hard can it be, really???

OVER AND OVER AND OVER again I go into the bank to make a PRINCIPAL ONLY Payment on my mortgage, say it repeatedly, they assure me it is going to only the principal and then I get my statement and they apply it to my monthly payment and the remainder to principal. This has happened 3 TIMES OUT OF 5!!!!!!!!!!!!! This bank is awful, how hard can it be, really???

I enjoy the staff at the Conroe branch and even enjoyed better when it operated under its former owner Mid-South. My experience with the new owner, Hancock Whitney, hasn't been positive and will be moving to another financial institution. The move has nothing to do with the current staff as they are still great to work with.

Long time customers of Whitney bank, we were glad to find a nearby branch in Conroe, TX. We were even more pleased to find a helpful courteous staff inside. Jennifer Lavender was just wonderful. She greeted us as we walked in, took time to get to know us and took care of our concerns quickly and professionally. We left knowing everything was done correctly and feeling valued as customers. Jennifer renewed our faith in banking customer service and we are so glad to have a new home branch.
