They really have a nice library system. Try hard to make activities for all age groups. Lots of books, lots of space to spend hours in.

Guess they feel they are above everyone and don't have to abide by the flags being at half mass as ordered by the President. Nor did the Veterans park in their parking lot. Will not be returning to this library

My first time visiting and I got a Library card, moving from a different state it was different, my home state once you have a library card, it's your's for life ❤️ and could be used anywhere in the state. But here in Texas I was told my library card would expire in 2 years, knowing how 2 years will fly by, even though I'm glad I have it, I did enjoy myself with my family it was Nice to see families in the library like when I grew up, looking forward to returning for a visit soon.

This library always has homeless and drug addicts at the front of it. I don’t feel safe bringing my child here. I wish they would have a separate entrance for them or something.

The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable, patient with little kids, and keep things pretty clean. I like the various events or classes they've had, too. This will sound whiney, but here are the negatives:
It's too bad this library is so behind with some of the things most libraries in the country are doing, like doing away with fines. I used to think everyone should just be responsible and bring their stuff back on time, but as I've grown older, I've come to learn that sometimes life gets busy and library due dates are at the bottom of the list. I think this does put some people at a disadvantage and removes their chance of using the library due to so many fines racking up. The summer reading program for kids is also pretty lacking compared to most other libraries we've experienced.
Also, I'm not a huge fan of how many homeless people use the library as a hangout joint and travel the Veteran's Park path, which makes it feel unsafe for families to use. Finally, I have been held up before by the political people out front during early voting times, begging for a vote. That has nothing to do with the library, but it's still annoying that I can't go inside with my small children for ten minutes because Mrs. VoteForMe is outside begging for a vote.

Wonderful library system. Staff is eager to assist. It’s a shame more people don’t utilize the services of our libraries. Literacy is necessary for freedom and Liberty.

This is a lovely library that actually has some of the older children’s classics! The staff is very attentive and asks you if you need help when you walk in.
