We bought water pump to pump out extra water accumulated during heavy rain. Our extended warranty we bought from them didn't cover any repair. Short story - bought it and used it once during heavy rain fall. It stopped working and no warranty coverage, we even paid extra $60 for diagnostics...We also bought diesel generator and only used it once, and their extended warranty didn't cover any repair to it. Will NEVER buy any power tools from them again.

Great customer service , we have been shopping generators and they have a pretty decent selection. On another note Restrooms are clean and nice .

Patrick ? ?,Great job!I called on phone and Patrick took the time to check to see if y'all had a pipe tap in stock.I called the Northern Tool closer to me and without checking the store employee stated, "we won't have that". I checked online inventory, before I called and it showed they have two in stock.Patrick saved my Sunday.Thank you

Northern tool commercial department recently earned my business, I purchased $6,000 worth of tools in 3 months for my construction business.Two times I needed help and the manager, Dane, treated me poorly and refused to help me. Both times he was agitated and treated me like I was disturbing him when I came to him for help.The first time he accused me of having fake gift cards. He did it in front of customers too and really embarrassed me (I was wearing my company hat and shirt and people were watching me like I was a scammer). I had to call corporate to get them to call him and tell him my gift cards are not fake!Then, My recent purchase, I bought a $300 grinder and it failed on the first job I used it on. I brought it back to them and asked if they could repair or exchange it so I can finish my job. He said no, ship it off to Milwaukee. I explained that would mean I have to buy a 2nd 300$ grinder and he said “yep”. He told me it’s my fault, that I abused the tool by grinding concrete with it. He said the tool is only good for metal. I pulled up my phone to show the Milwaukee website which has videos of guys grinding concrete. Then he said I voided the warranty because I altered the tool by removing the dust shield. Even after I showed him the tool and instructions showing it was an optional part and at has a quick detach lever. He got more aggravated every time I disproved his reasons for not helping me. I left quite angry and went to Home Depot and bought another one.Home Depot will exchange defective Milwaukee tools for 1 year in store, no questions asked, just need the proof of purchase which is easy on a pro account. These tools come with a 5 year warranty.Northern tool won’t exchange or return it in the same week you bought the tool!The Northern Tool commercial guys worked hard and earned my business but Dane cost it. I don’t think I have ever been so mad at somebody.I’m done with Northern Tool because I won’t go to Conroe location anymore due to lack of support and customer service.The other locations are too far away.I’m attaching a picture of the tool and the concrete I was grinding when it failed so people can confirm the tool was used for its intended purpose, not altered in any way and I was truly was done a disservice by Dane at the Conroe location.Also, I left a message for the area rep Mr Coleman to see if he would help me out, I waited 3 weeks for him to call me back before leaving this review.Trust me. If you rely on your tools to make a living, buy them somewhere else.

I placed a order of about $1300.00 for various items from Milwaukee batteries and drill, hose reels, ratchet straps etc… I ordered on line first week of January and I still don’t have all the items? The clerk said on free delivery options that you pick up at store is shipped when the distribution facility wants to ship. All paid shipping is fast, all free delivery to store is very very slow! I wish they would have gave me the information prior to completing the order? I may have paid for shipping? These folks have some irrational policies!

It was not my first Northern Tool purchase, but the first from this location. I was immediately greeted at the register then she quickly located my order and called back to retrieve it. The two guys who brought it out loaded it into my car. It fit with about 1/4" clearance. They were very polite and friendly and told me Merry Christmas. A very positive experience!

I will never use their service department again. 150 dollars to put a 60 dollar part through a parts cleaner. This was after misleading me to believe there would be no charge above the nonrefundable 40 dollar diagnostic fee unless repair or replacement was necessary. Either completely dishonest or ignorant of common decency. Either way no more.
