This company is atrocious. If you want thousands in damage to your property, the job not installed as sold, and incompetent negligent employees that don't reply to you about concerns, then this is the place for you!! The owner hired his daughter as COO to protect him while she remains completely elusive and employees laugh in your face about how her and her daddy don't do anything at all or even bother coming in to work. The meth heads they send to your house damage things and lie. They refuse to reply to issues and then hound you for money like you're the asshole for not paying for terrible work. Hire someone else to save your sanity.

I would like to thank Rikman Services and their employees, Kathy plus the field guys of the fantastic, well done job for my Generac generator install on November 3, 2023. From the guys hired to dig the trenches to the guys who laid the pipe lines and finally to the men who performed the last connection and started the Generator to ensure everything "was a go", I only have a big "Thank You" for making my day, as the previous Generator Installer assigned to me, failed to deliver. Rikman Services immediately scheduled my install, sent out their Service Agent, Ted, whom was a blessing in itself and got my installation immediately on the way only after a few days of excepting the order. I would also like to acknowledge other names like Andrew, who worked so hard to see everything went right during the Generator install along with his co-worker Sam and Pete and Jason got the pipes laid and the dig crew, Andy, who led the charge with his workers...All in All, you can't go wrong choosing Rikman Services for your Generator installation!!!Services: Ground wire installation

I spent time researching a whole-house generator and installation. I got four bids and asked friends who already had their system installed who they selected and why, the highest praise was Rikman Services. Rikman had a middle price point of about $6000, which worked out well since the highest was $9000 and the lowest was $1400. I have a saying about selecting bids, There is nothing more expensive than the cheap help(see NASA disasters). Rikman was amazing to work with from my first contact. They showed up on time, did a thorough survey, explained the entire process, worked with me on pricing, and then handled all the permitting and dealing with Center Point for a minor fee which is well worth the cost. The crew worked like a well-oiled machine, one team dug the trench as the others placed the unit and started the electrical work, as soon as the trench was done the gas lines were installed. Rikman had the inspectors scheduled and ready to go so there were no delays. Once the system was completed and the city inspector was done, they scheduled a crew to come to show me how to use everything and made sure I had the app installed on my phone. Put aside the great price and flawless work and you still have the kindest, most caring assistance you can imagine. From start to finish they keep you informed every step of the way. They cleaned the area and made sure the lawn was back in perfect order, the crew even picked up every tiny piece of plastic and paper(shhh don't tell other electricians these guys clean up, it's against their "code")Services: Ground wire installation

Contracted through Lowe's Installation Services for a Standby Generator installation. Rikman Services/Master Diggers cut my properly marked gas supply line to my house while digging a trench for a generator installation on September 21st, 2023. The workers left my property without notifying me of the fact that they had cut my gas line. They folded the gas line over and attempted to stop the leak with a tie down (picture). Rickman Services/Master Diggers left my property with a known active gas leak which could have killed me, my neighbor, and burned down both of our houses. I inspected their work after they left, smelled a gas leak, and immediately called CenterPoint Energy, Rikman Services, and Lowe's. Rikman and Master Diggers stated that the workers did not notify me (even though I was home) because their workers do not speak English (even though I had a conversation with them before they started work). Master Diggers was planning on returning later in the day to repair the gas line themselves. I was absolutely shocked to hear this. I'm willing to bet this is not the first time this has happened and Rickman Services/Master Diggers have patched (illegally) multiple natural gas lines they have cut. No one is allowed to repair CenterPoint's gas lines but CenterPoint. Rikman and Master Diggers were attempting to save a few dollars by doing the repair themselves which would have put my life and property at great danger. Security camera footage of the workers cutting the gas line and their unprofessional attempt to stop the active gas leak: Rikman Services/Master Diggers also rendered my sprinkler system inoperable. It has been more than three weeks and they have yet to repair the sprinkler system.

Installers were professional and offered excellent advice on how to maintain system. Although we’re waiting for gas company to do their installation of meter , they instructed us to call when the gas was installed to do the presentation of operation. Felt very good about the services we received.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Rikman Generator Service. Initially, they provided me with a quote for their services, but upon their visit, they added an unexpected $2,900 to the price. This sudden increase was incredibly frustrating, especially considering that other companies had offered me more reasonable quotes. Moreover, their advice against using Lowe's and the discourteous behavior of their attendant left me concerned. What was even more disappointing was their reluctance to refund my money despite the unjustified price hike and the poor service I received. To add to my frustration, the price they quoted me for the permit did not align with the City of Crocket's requirements. I discovered that Rikman Generator Service charged me $550.00 for a permit that should have only cost $140.00. This lack of integrity and professionalism is truly disheartening. This caused further confusion and inconvenience. This entire ordeal has left me feeling unsatisfied and disheartened. I would caution others to carefully consider their options before engaging with Rikman Generator Service, as my experience highlights a lack of transparency, professionalism, and customer-oriented values within the company. Despite the expectation of a call from Karen to address the situation, I never received any communication from her. On the whole, my experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would strongly advise exploring alternative options for getting this task accomplished.

We had a full house generator installed by Rikman Services and they could not have been more helpful, professional, and accommodating. We experienced serious issues with Center Point and the staff at Rikman stepped in resolved the issues and completed the install. We are very satisfied with every employee we were in contact with, and would definitely use their services again and would highly recommend Rikman Services to everyone.Service: Installation

Given several financing options and completed this online through their front office. Permitting completed and approved successfully through their office and installation team. Had a generator installed by Lowe's. The contractor was nice, but was NOT a businessman and the people who performed the work did a horrible job and there was zero follow through. I called Lowe's Corporate to complain. They fired the contractor and hired RIKMAN Services to do the job. Everything was done great! They kept me informed, showed up when they said they would, their folks were courteous and conscientious, and the work was done exactly to code...there were no shortcuts. I'm glad that Lowe's hired them and am glad that Rikman Services takes pride in a job well done.

our new Generac Generator was installed yesterday by Rikman and everything went smoothly . They should up on time plumber, electrician they all worked together.Front office staff was great also kept me informed about all the details . We have had other Generators installed before by other companies but Rikman has been the best by far. They are also affordable and if we ever need another generator we will definitely choose Rikman .

Rikman services did a great job with my generator installation. They were constantly in contact with me on what was going to be done each day, and kept me informed on the details of the job being done even though I was at work while they were working at my home. Very happy with how quickly and efficient this company was as well! Once they were done, they did a great job at cleaning up and making sure my yard looked how it did prior to the installation. They told me to expect the job to be done in 3 days, and they finished the job in that exact amount of time. Would very much recommend this company to anyone!
