I took my travel trailer here as it was recommended by the insurance company. I dropped off my trailer on Friday October 18th it was not finished until February 12th. When I dropped it off I paid my $500 deductible in cash. (If you pay them anything you better video it) There is constant delays it's going to be ready and then it's the next week and then the next.
When it is finally done I make arrangements to pick it up and they want my deductible again. I explained I paid in cash when I dropped it off 4 months ago (the insurance paid them 6 months ago) and they said no you didn't we don't take payments like that. Rob took my money when I dropped it off, I just have no proof so I had to pay my deductible again to get my trailer.
When I picked it up there was no walkthrough showing what was done. I never received a copy of the estimate or anything explaining what the over 15k was going for. The work looks un professional on the inside and very subpar. I hope that the roof replacement was done better, but only time will tell. I do not recommend using this company but if you do, video and record every conversation, ask for everything in writing. I asked for copies of every piece of paper and I hardly got anything, I received a paper saying work to be performed was as per estimate but never saw the estimate. Consumer beware. I am very unhappy. Shop around get real reviews before ever dealing with a business, I am learning the hard way being back in Texas.

We had a leak in our van and also had roof damage inside. We took it to Russel RV. They had it for almost a week when we called to see what the estimate was for the work to be done. They called back and told us the van wouldn’t start. Had it hauled to a shop. A week later we took it back. They gave a ridiculous estimate over the phone and we told them that all we needed done was the whole van to be resealed and if the vents needed replaced to let us know. I erroneous thought they were going to reseal the whole van. You can see in the video that not only did not reseal the whole van but did not inform us about the the vent over the commode ! You can see in the video it should have been replaced; it broke off when I touched it!
They did not reseal the whole van, as we expected, but just the top. This was my fault, since I did not get anything in writing; I was not thinking about it, after we took it back. They charged us $1700.00 for this van to be resealed on the top. I can write all my complaints, but instead I took video. I like to stick with facts. One of my biggest issues is the fact that they did not clean anywhere they resealed! Everyone knows you MUST clean the area before you reseal anything in order for it to properly adhere. The roof is still very dirty and we all know for any sealant to properly adhere, the surface area MUST be cleaned! When I questioned why it wasn’t cleaned and was still so dirty, I was told they resealed where the old seal was, so they didn’t clean it! Really! $1700.00 and they could not wipe it off with a rag before they put the sealant down? Also, if the AC was resealed, since it was the biggest issue we had, why in the video do you see styrofoam sticking out of vent. Did they not see this? The sealant cost was only a couple of hundred, the rest I was told was for labor! I would not ever recommend this company for their service.

We have been dealing with this company for many years. Their work ethics is outstanding! They have always been accommodating. We have never hurried them and in return the repairs were done exceedingly well. This trip they repair our floor took their time and the work is beautiful done. Thank you guys!

Horrible experience with customer services and overall business professionalism. The “quote”was Amended several times in favor of them and the insurance company. I was out of pocket more than double my overall deductible, as I was told by more than one person “ it was out of there hands, and nothing they could do about it.” One of the employees told me a story that referred to how he was ripped off when making a purchase of a fire arm that came with No magazine! This infuriated me. After I returned home , I immediately learned of my Tv’s, Power cord, and vacuum accessories were stolen, as was a massive blow out on the way home. But the real Icing on the cake was repairing a busted fitting on the back of a toilet that the repair man had obviously stripped out from not using the proper tools. Channel locks will harm plastic fittings easily. If they would have tested the craftsmanship of the work, or tested the trailer at all, after the repair. It would have been clear! The only reason I decided to give one star, is because taking stars is not an option! Stay blessed, avoid tragedy! That is all!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. We were told about Russell RV by our insurance company after our Norcold refrigerator burned. We took our Motor Home in so they could look at the fire damage & some other items we needed to get done since it was going to be in their shop anyway.Daniel walked with us with his tablet & we thought he was taking notes on everything we showed & talked to him about. He gave some good advice & ideas about what needed to be done and the other items we wanted done. This was in November 2020. We told them to go ahead and get all the necessary items to fix &/or repair our rig before we bring it in. We also asked to wait until after the Christmas & New Year's holidays. We orded and had the refrigerator shipped to them.January we took the rig back after being told that they had everything they needed to fix all our request. They said everything would be done in 2 weeks.February 4 weeks & 2 days after we took it in they called to let us know it was ready. When we got there they didn't want to go over the job with us. They didn't even want to do a walk through. Daniel & another guy beguiling did quickly walk us through & around. When we asked if this or that was done they said "oh yeah I remember us talking about that but I didn't get it in my notes, oops."During its 4 + week stay they did not call. They also did not call us back on the 2 or 3 occasion that we called to give or get information. Daniel nor Mike were available. Our mistake was not making them verbally read their list from our original visit and get a hard copy of the list. We would have seen/heard that they didn't have the complete list. The jobs the did do are subpar! They cracked a drain line that we didn't discover for a week. We took that long to get everything that we took out back in. (We emptied the rig so they didn't have to move anything while working.) And some of the paint they had to do is already eroding. We will not go there again. We will not be recommending them to anyone!THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE.THEY DO NOT DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU.WORK IS HORRIBLE

We stopped in to see if they had availability since we needed one of our slides worked on. Talked to Mike (Parts) and once he and one of the mechanics looked it over they set us up for the following Monday. We dropped it off first thing Monday and also had them check the bearings and breaks. They said it would be done late afternoon. Mike called after a couple of hours and let us know the parts were available and could do it all. We got the call at 4:00 and were picking it up by 4:30. All done and working perfectly. Bottom line is we are very happy with the work and excellent service. If you are in the area and need your RV serviced I would highly recommend them. Just be sure to call first! They can get very busy.

We have used Russell for six years and have always been pleased with their work until now. Daniel is wonderful and knows what customer service is about. I must say though this year’s work will be our last with them. We had new flooring and it was done great and looks good but. . . almost all the things they removed to do the floor was replaced back wrong. Water heater was a problem and had a leak that had caused our old floor to rot. We were told it would be fixed and all would be repaired - didn’t happen. After a heated discussion with Mike he finally sent someone out to repair the leaks we were told would be fixed to begin with. Both front slides were removed with one slide floor replaced. The slide that the floor was replaced was installed wrong and is not sealing. We did not realize this until we were traveling again and got in rain. Were told by Russell when we informed them of the problem that it was working when they replaced it after work. Well yes it was but it was installed wrong and will not seal but they told us our problem. This is just two of the major issues but there have been other that we have just had taken care of. I’m really upset as a long time customer of the rude attitude of Mike and owners not caring when I emailed them. Update- the plumbing leaks that cause our flooring problem to begin with are all leaking again. We were told by Russell they would all be fixed. Well they were but with bubble gum and we have now spent over $1000 getting things fixed that they told us they fixed and we paid they for. Never again will I trust them with my RV (home)
