I was financing a vehicle, and the credit union (specifically Cece) went above and beyond. Cece pre-approved me for a loan and when i got to the dealer, they refused to accept a "draft" payment from the credit union. Cece arranged for me to pick up a cashiers check at the nearest branch. She even had them stay open after business hours the day before Christmas Eve to take care of us. She noticed the dealer attempting to charge us 5000 over market price on an extended warranty and organized for us to finance an identical warranty through smart financial for ~2k. Ceces management needs to give her a raise & promotion because she has secured lifetime loyalty for smart financial through her impeccable customer service.

Neil has been wonderful helping my navigate thru the challenges of being defrauded by fraudulent charges to my credit card. He has been so helpful and patient during this challenging time for me. He is very knowledgeable and was able to resolve my issues.

I’m so happy I went with smart financial credit Union! Alexis Smith was my loan officer and she was absolutely wonderful! She has done a few loans and refinances over the past couple of months. She always explains everything very well and heck a couple of them I didn’t even have to come into the branch. She is very responsive to her emails and calls. This review is long overdue! Thanks Alexis for being kind, excellent, patient, and good at your job!

I have been a customer over 25 years. Last night they allowed a fraudster to clean out over $1100 from my checking account. They allowed this even though they suspected the very first transaction was fraudulent. They then allowed 3 more fraudulent transactions from the same group. They then told me it would take 40 to 70 days to investigate this mess. The last Smart Financial employee I spoke with Christian B....(he refused to provide me with his last name though I asked twice)...intimated the problem was all my fault because I ever had the temerity to use the debit card his bank had provided me with. Then he hung up on me. At this point I would avoid this credit union like all the employees have the plague. As a group, they have proven dishonest, disinterested in their customers, and even mean-spirited. Do not trust them with your money, and never believe they have your best interest at heart. They are dishonest, incompetent, and vicious.

Alexis Smith at this branch is such a huge help. She assisted my husband and I on opening a loan. She was quick and efficient, and so friendly. I highly recommend anyone to request her when visiting this branch for all your needs!

Customer relations.Recently my wife ( Sheryl H. )who's been a customer for over 25 yrs was treated very much disrespect by a Christian B. he wouldn't give her his last name and even hung up on her.What happened is Smart Credit Union alerted her to a suspicious transaction. She told them that's not me ( someone hacked her debit card number ) meanwhile Smart allowed THREE MORE transactions to go through cleaning out her account of more than $1800.00 . Needless to say She was very upset. What Christian B. did on the phone was to be a total A hole. He insinuated it was her fault, asking where did you use your card as if she had done something wrong. when she got upset with him he hung up on her. That's not how you treat a customer especially an elderly woman. Christian ( B ) Needs to be severely reprimanded. Because of His and others she talked to treatment of her we are closing all three of her accounts and have already filed complaints with all the appropriate agencies governing you guys.Seems you guys have now taken on the Prima Donna attitude that is so prevalent with all the Big Banks. ( Total freaking Crooks they are )Sad situation Smart Financial.I got a few choice words for this Christian B who treated my wife with such disrespect but I'll refrain from saying those here.Regretfully, Jim Hewett

Alexis knocked it out of the park! She got me in and out of there in my business handled very quickly. I was impressed. Thank you so much!Update:Brenda handled my car loan, and she was amazing! I’ve never had a car loan before and she held my hand, walked me through the process and answered my million questions! She made herself available consistently. I could not have been happier with the hard work she put in on my behalf.In fact the entire branch there is a great team of professionals. I’m so glad I found them!

I have been with this credit union for over 20 years. They used to have awesome customer service this is not the case anymore. They now charge excessive fees and when you call they are very snotty and rude refusing to take away any fees that were charged. When you go into a branch all you get is a teller on a television set. So sad what has happened to this credit union.

I've been a member here for over 20 years. Customer service used to be a priority. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, they dont care anymore. They just expect you to stay. They do nothing to show gratitude for customer loyalty. Their interest rates are not nearly as good as they used to be, and they pay almost nothing to keep your money with them. My biggest complaint is their push for electronic tellers and their need to close at 2 pm on Wednesdays. I tried the electronic teller when I could not see anyone in person, and that was also unavailable even though it was inside posted business hours. I used to promote Smart Financial to everyone, but those days are gone.
