Left the hospital and received an email that my prescriptions were on hold due to my insurance not being updated, it gave me the number to call so I did. I called and was on hold for 25 mins before someone picked it up and hung it up. So I called back, and was on hold for close to 15 mins when I said screw it and we drove there. Get there, still on hold, and there’s about 6 people in line and around 5 people in the back working the pharmacy. I hung up since they were ignoring all calls anyway. I know most pharmacies fill prescriptions and then work on payment after they’re filled. Nope not Walgreens. Walgreens puts EVERYTHING on hold until they decided they want to do it. While hearing this I can also hear a man making excuses for the long wait, 1.5 hours or longer, because “corporate screwed us and short staffed us like crazy today” Do better. I don’t really care why yall are slow, just say we’re running really behind today I’m so sorry. Do better.

Horrible customer service, You’re waiting in line for over 40 minutes. I have previously call. They said he was ready once I got there. I had to wait 40 minutes in line.. The gentleman Ask for the patient information sat in front of the computer for another 15 minutes, Then he asked me again for the same information. I just told him I asked him why he was taking so long and he hang up.
Wait 30 minutes after I spoke to him for me to get my prescription and I’m not even sure if he did it the right way it looks very confused when he was making the antibiotic for my son. I’m not sure where the place you’re open after read all these reviews. Where do we have to complain?

This pharmacy has no shame. They have the worst people Running the pharmacy and the customer service is horrible!!! It’s Despicable the way, they treat the elderly!!! The girl in the drive thru Not sure if she was Hispanic or Indian but she is an awful awful person who treats people in a horrible manner. I was shocked to see this happening . I would not like it if my mother or father were to come to this pharmacy and be treated in this manner, the pharmacy manager did not say anything to the employee although he did witness what was happening. I should have checked all the negative reviews before doing any kind of business with this pharmacy. Hopefully people will see this review and not go there.

Thank you Mark, in the photo Dept, for being so knowledgeable, kind, and professional. You made an important task ( my sons graduation collages and metal panels) so easy for me to complete and my family is grateful to you and Walgreens ( College Park location)

The pharmacy is horrible...Mary specifically has no empathy for patients specially cancer patients. Her sarcasm and I don't care attitude will definitely get a written letter to corporate. She shouldn't be ANY WHERE around sick people specially terminal illnesses
She has no idea what the patients go through. And they don't need her extra attitude.

There aren't words to express how grateful I am for Toni in Rx. He helped make a rough night easier, and was just an all-around good person.

Wonderful Customer Service and a Bright Spirit – Thank You!
I visited this store on March 20, 2025, around 3:00 PM, and had a truly refreshing customer service experience that I felt compelled to share. Upon entering, I was greeted by a young lady who was working as the cashier. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted at the time—I just knew I needed a little something before heading into my overnight shift at work.
As I browsed the aisles, clearly a bit indecisive, the young lady kindly approached me and asked if there was anything she could assist with. I appreciated the offer and mentioned I was looking for Grandma’s cookies, which unfortunately were not available. However, she didn’t stop there—she thoughtfully took me to a few similar options, although I was still holding out hope for what I originally wanted, as I don’t typically eat a lot of sweets.
After helping me, she returned to her register, but I found myself with more questions. Despite being busy, she remained patient, responsive, and kind, never once making me feel like I was a burden. She even recommended a few snacks and handled my “crazy” questions with professionalism and genuine warmth. Her ability to multitask—assisting other customers and still giving me her full attention—was impressive.
It’s rare these days to find someone, especially a young person, who serves with such a positive attitude, patience, and sincere willingness to help. While I did ask for her name, I unfortunately forgot it, but I absolutely did not forget the impact she made on me that day.
I ended up purchasing a Mountain Dew Zero, an Alani energy drink, and two bags of chocolate-covered pretzels—thanks in part to her helpful suggestions. I just wanted to say thank you. I wish you all the best in your studies and future endeavors. Keep that bubbly spirit and amazing personality—your excellent customer service truly brightened my day and gave me the boost I needed to head into my shift with a smile.

The longest wait times I have ever experienced from a pharmacy. I take no delight in leaving negative reviews, but I’m writing this out of cautionary concern. Lots of confusion abounds as-well. Would recommend avoiding at all costs.

Honestly one of the worst pharmacies I have ever been to. The first two times I went they didn’t rush my medicine from the hospital I was just discharged from even though I called to ask for a rush. The third time I called and asked for an ETA and they told me to call back in 30 minutes. I called back 49 minutes later and they told me to call back 30 minutes later. I finally got frustrated and showed up in person and they made me wait another 40 minutes before getting my prescription. I was the ONLY person in line.
This last time I was second in line in the drive though only to wait another HOUR for a prescription that had been ready for 2 days and they called me that morning to tell me it was ready.
Moral: Dont voluntarily come to this location.

This location has really gone downhill and it's sad because it's a 24 hr location. They used to be amazing. I'm not sure what's going on but it's been incredibly hard to get prescriptions filled. Hold times. Wait times. They were even randomly closed on a Saturday recently.
