We recently moved, and had Woodlands Moving and Storage pack the trailer. When it arrived at our new location, the damage was significant. I would say 90% of the item packed were damaged. I filed a claim, and the owner, Jason Adams, said that they are not liable. They packed it, and locked the bulkhead, and was not opened again until the trailer was unpacked. Large sectional Sofa frame broken and covered in black marks, dryer broken, mattress ruined, coffee table top ripped completely off, wardrobe boxes compressed to about 18 inches., too much to list here..we are talking thousands in damaged furniture. It was 100% due to poor packing. BEWARE!!

DO NOT USE THEM! They are going to have a law suit filed against them. We have over a plethora of customers that had their furniture destroyed. With no remorse this is word for word verbatim, what was said. (As seen below). These guys destroyed the last customers belongings. I just can’t believe with all these cases, they are still a running company. They will literally wreck your stuff and tell you to bad. Well not anymore. Buh bye"All our crews when loading our trucks use pads, poles, and partitions to prevent Items from being damaged in Shipment, the problem is that we were not provided the correct materials during the loading of your truck.While it appears that some damage may have occurred during shipment at the end of the day, we did not ship it, nor do we have liability for items not in our care. We do our best to load them as safely as we can unfortunately, we were not provided with these materials to do so.At this point we are closing this claim, if you feel there is more information, we will be happy to review this however at this point it is our conclusion that we were not liable for this. We would encourage you to contact the carrier for further service in the resolution of this".

One of the 3 movers took my grandfather clock apart to move and I said to him that I hoped he knows how to put it back together and he said he did and that they do it all the time. Sometime during the chaos of packing last minute stuff, that mover disappeared and when we got to the destination he wasn’t with the other 2 movers. When I asked where he was they told me he had to leave. So I ended up with just 2 movers and while they worked hard, it wasn’t until they left late at night that the pieces to my grandfather clock were left laying on the ground wrapped up in material. I decided to call them the next day and I was assuming they were coming back to finish the job. Later that night I discovered that they had not plugged in my adjustable bed base and had shoved my heavy bed all the way against the wall blocking the outlet. I also discovered the legs to the bed were not put on either. I called them the next day and talked to a supervisor or manager and he told me they would come back that day or the next. They didn’t show up and I called every day for 3 more days which my calls kept going to voicemail. They never returned any of my calls. They just left me high and dry and now I’m going to have to find someone who knows how to finish what they didn’t! Very poor customer service!!

I highly recommend this company! From start to finish they were extremely professional. I called and was given and quote to move a 3 bedroom apartment on the first floor to a 3 bedroom on the second floor. I pre-packed everything to make it easier on the crew. Once the crew of 3 arrived they got to work immediately. They loaded everything and were extremely professional and polite. If they had questions or needed anything they asked how I would like it. I have never had a moving company take such good care of my things. These guys worked nonstop and moved everything in 4 hours. Which included heavy garage things such as a large tool box and a work bench. Once finished the total was under the quote that was originally given. I will absolutely use them for any future moves! Thank you Woodlands Moving and Storage y’all are truly awesome!

Worst moving experience ever! I had a new 75” TV and I saved the box to store it in. The movers said it would take too long and that they had something better to wrap it in. The didn’t wrap it at all and it arrived broken. They also banged around my furniture and chipped a lot of it. My memory foam mattress was torn and the layers were pulled apart. Can’t use it anymore. They also lost a ton of things. I paid for 2 storage areas and they still managed to lose a lot of things.

ZERO STARS: Working with Woodlands Moving and Storage was the worst moving experience we have ever had. We had an agreement with the main office concerning how our home and our storage unit contents would be moved. On the day of the move, I talked to "Ed" the lead mover and he told me it was not going to go that way. Ed was offended that I would "tell them how to do their job". Ed continued to speak in a derogatory manor to me throughout the day. We were told by the main office that the few things we didn't already have packed up were no problem as the crew would help us box those up. When at our house though, nope - not the case. "We don't take shoes", we were told we couldn't bring them loose things to load up (backyard playground pieces - one was a plastic basketball hoop), and they wouldn't work with us on the loose stuff in our garage. Ed was downright offensive at times directly to me - I WAS PAYING $200 PER HOUR for this! I asked him if he got paid hourly or by the job. He wouldn't answer telling me that was not important. At the end of the day, after not being able to fit all of our things in the trucks, he offered for us to hire him on the side to finish it up. When I didn't respond that we would hire him, he told me "I don't work for you or for them" [meaning Woodlands Moving and Storage], as he's a contractor for them apparently. We called the office the next working day to complain about the downright offensive service and were told Ed was just tired as he'd been working too much and "gets grumpy" and "probably just needs a day off". The person in the office also told us this was not the first complaint they'd had. I will never, ever hire this company again and will suggest to anyone - avoid them like the plague.

I have used Woodlands Moving twice now. Both times, the crew was very professional and efficient. Even though one pays by the hour, they don't dawdle at all. In fact, they hustle and get the work done quickly and safely. Much appreciated!

LOVE THESE GUYS!!!!! I’ve used them 3 times. Two local moves, and also a Dallas to Houston move. They get it done quick! The owner, Jason, is a local native and relies on reputation and word of mouth. Rates are more than fair bc he’s not paying for a bunch of big advertising. He supports local business and knows somebody for anything you need. During one of my moves, I needed a washer/dryer but didn’t want to pay big ticket price, the owner even found a set for me from a different move where the people didn’t need theirs anymore. Still using it to this day as I type this. If you’re looking for great rates and a job done right... you’ve landed in the right place.

We sought help with a small, 2-hour move for my elderly mother. Her move was from one apartment into a senior-specific setting.Initially, the crew was great and moved carefully and quickly. However, when we arrived at the senior complex, we ran into a frustrating issue.Because of the resident population, the facility requires masking and temperature checks - a cautious courtesy to residents who may be more susceptible to severe illness. However, the crew leader bristled at the request and reacted unprofessionally toward me (the customer) and the staff at the new residence.Essentially, he refused to abide by this private business’ policy. This put me in an awkward position unnecessarily. We will encounter facility staff well into the future and he chose to put us in a tough spot with these folks. His selfish decision worked against the customer. Even after reminding him of the more sensitive population, he muttered more refusals. Two of the crew did somewhat go-along and at least put the masks on, albeit below their nose and mouth which defeats the purpose.Overall, it’s unlikely that I’d call this business again because their team couldn’t be relied on to work on behalf of their customer.
