About Boysville, Inc.
Boysville, the Home with a Heart, was founded in 1943 as a result of Rev. Don Holiman’s observation of orphaned, homeless and abandoned boys sleeping in San Antonio’s Travis Park. Today, Boysville provides a continuum of trauma-informed services and care for children and caregivers affected by abuse, neglect, and family crisis. We provide temporary emergency shelter for boys and girls, therapeutic residential foster care, a community-based foster and adoption program, and supervised independent living for young adults who have aged out of the foster system. If you are interested in becoming a foster or adoptive parent, we host Foster Parent Orientations throughout the year. Get involved today!

I stayed there a year or so along with my brother Way back in the early 60s. Never forgot the farm. It was a great place to stay if your family was disrupted. I believe Mr. Loveless ran the place then, not sure but I thank the organization for their good deeds.

This place is great and they gave us a home. They might be tuff here and there but they put us in shape. I love it 💞

I grew up here from 1991-2001. Without this place, I would not be the successful husband, father, sailor, leader and author I am today. This place gave me a second family and a second chance!
