This place is “okay” much like all Exchanges. Most all items are MSRP, but without tax. Honestly, better deals are not here. Know your prices, and with consideration to tax or no tax. Sometimes the Exchange have incredible sales, but not often.

The only prescribed medicine that took almost two weeks for my medication to be ready. The longest I have ever have to wait. My Dr prescribed me insulin for my gestational diabetes since last week. I’m due in 4 weeks. I went to RAFB to pick it up , waited long enough for my turn only to tell me it’s ready but they can’t give it to me until
I get back to my Dr and have them call
TRICARE, as tricare pharmacy benefit requires a prior authorization for the prescription submitted from my Dr office.
Now that just means that it is supposed to be ready by now since it’s been more than a week my Dr sent the needed paperwork and also they give me a copy just in case pharmacy said they didn’t have it.
I have another prescription from my Dr sent to this pharmacy totaling of 5 prescription. They told me I can’t have it since they waiting for the pharmacist to verify those medication.
They can’t even have me wait for the pharmacist to verify it real quick so I can’t take those medication right away and wanted me to come back some other day. The medication that was prescribed to me since last week should have been ready for pick up by now. Imagine being prescribed for insulin and wanted me have it taken right away and they’re holding it for almost 2 weeks now. Unbelievable! This is the reason why I never wanted to deal with military pharmacy. Since 2015 I only go to Walgreens, Kitty H-E-B pharmacy I pay a little OOP but never had to deal with longer pick up. Within 2 hrs of prescription sent from my dr it’s ready. The longest I have to wait is half a day. Unless they don’t have the prescription on hand.

Had flu -A waited anhour to hand in paper prescription which was awful, BUT they filled my prescription by the time I got in the car and drank some tea! Sooooo fast and xofluza was expensive at other pharmacies, so thank you all in the back for getting me out quickly!

Had called in a medicine for pickup. Quick turnaround time. In fact, I got the call to pick up my meds this morning, 7Dec2023, around 0800am, and proceeded to the BX Pharmacy. Got there around 0815am. There was no one in line, and it took less than five minutes to get my medicine and head back on my way to work. Fast and efficient service.

We’re an Army family, have been stationed at 6 different bases with lots of experiences with military and civilian pharmacies. This place is WONDERFUL! They are so friendly, kind and willing to help!! Customer service is great and they are efficient so you aren’t waiting forever. Previous reviews state issues that addressed if you call their number that is listed. I have zero complaints. Literally one of the best!
