If you value professionalism, integrity, and basic human decency, do not take your business here. There are plenty of reputable auto shops that treat all customers — even us ladies who Coppell Tire and Auto obviously thinks are complete idiots — with fairness and respect. Would I ever go back here, even if three of my wheels fell off right in front of their store?… No thanks!

After many years and hundreds of dollars bringing multiple vehicles here with good service and fair prices, I am breaking up with CTA. My last two experiences in customer service were abysmal, despite my giving grace and remaining professional and kind. Today I paid $600 for a car that still would not start in *their parking lot. You read that right. When I called, they forgot to put me on hold before saying disparaging things about me to one another. They won’t even notice I’m gone, I’m sure they’re plenty busy, but here’s my one star review which I wrote while I’ve been on hold for 14 minutes waiting to speak someone.

The guys at Coppell Tire and Auto are genuine and honest. I have been there on multiple occasions and I leave a happy customer every time. The most recent instance was with my wife’s Chevrolet Traverse. I thought she needed new spark plugs which would have cost $400. They called and said that wasn’t the issue, it was something else and it would only cost $100. They could have replaced the spark plugs and fixed the $100 issue as well and charge me $400 but they didn’t. They truly are honest and reliable folks. They are also big supporters the Coppell High School Cowboys.

I have had a few things done on a couple of cars that are more than five years old, and I have found the work to be high quality. Rewiring lights, replacing solenoids, key programming, and a couple of things that require a computer. The prices have been very reasonable (much less than a dealer IMO, and less than the part-timers at the local fast-lubes) and they are very communicative about prices and what they can and can’t do.

Robert and his team at Coppell Tire and Auto took excellent care of my Jeep Wrangler! They quickly found the source of the problem, fixed my wipers and rear sway bar, and now my ride is smooth and quiet. Instead of charging for what could have been wrong, they were honest and got it right the first time. Very friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!

I know dealing with the public can be hard, but I did not appreciate Robert treating me like an idiot for trying to take advantage of a lifetime warranty offered by Advance Auto on their compressors. I do not expect the shop to change their policy if they do not want to work with customer provided parts, but don't treat me like an idiot and then tell me it is because I am too dishonest not to blame them if it does not work. I just walked out... even though I need tires too.
It is not about the policy. Your house, your rules, and I do get it. It is about respect. Why not try to see it from my point of view while, at the same time, holding your ground about the policy, instead of treating me like an idiot. Plus, If I can't be trusted, why would I trust you to work on my car?

Looking for a good mechanic you can trust? Coppell Tire and Auto does an outstanding job. Great service, reasonable prices, and very reliable. We’ve got older cars and they always keep them running well. Check them out. You’ll be glad you did.

Called and made an appointment and dropped my car off at the appointed time and they said it would take 2 hours. I returned 6 hours later and they hadn't even looked at the tire. I asked them when they would get to it and they said they had no idea. They then suggested I make an appointment and when I pointed out that I did they said they had no control over the time. My advice use this shop only if you can give up the use of your car for a week or more even for minor tire repairs. This combined with the lack of customer service, outrageous prices, and total disdain for all customers... Equals a guaranteed nightmare experience.
