This was a bad truck we received none of the car plugs worked so we weren’t able to charge our phones which we needed and the head lights were very dim so dim to the point we could barely see the lines on the road at night

Their website is not accurate to what they actually charge in person.

Made a reservation with customer service and they messed it up, now they call back and want $1000+ for a new reservation because I made it so late. Adding $600 for YOUR customer service messing something up? I was going to recommend budget to any friends moving because of the amazing price but never mind... If you wanna call last minute because your customer service schedule pickup on a day you're not open and then charge me crazy prices I will NEVER be using budget rentals again. Uhaul can have my money.

Picked up the truck from an automotive placed called Nauret in COPPERAS cove, texas. The man was very nice but the 26' foot truck we rented was a mess. The cabin was very dirty. The door didn't lock. The rear was not swept out and the wood flooring was messed up, needs replacing. Never had seen a moving truck in such a mess. It did have over 108k miles on it. Diesel. Maybe it is time to retire this truck. However it did the job we needed done.

Dropped the truck off after hours. Was charged a fuel fee even though I filled it up at a gas station a mile away. Screw budget truck rentals.

The shop itself is a locally owned business that rents tools as well as budget trucks. The owner of this shop is very straight forward, and is always nice to see. I go in almost monthly for the past 5 years. For those renting budget trucks, the trucks themselves are cheaper to rent. I've had my own issues with budget years ago, but you get good vehicles and bad ones no matter who you use. Not this locations fault, and I do see the owner working on the trucks as needed.

Rented a 12 foot budget truck to travel from Texas to Washington State. We were told that the vehicle and all of the fluids had been checked and everything was fine. We traveled about 200-300 miles and the engine light came on so we checked the oil and it was completely empty. We obviously went and filled the oil and tried to contact budgets customer service and could only get through to a message line. We left a message with a contact number and never received a call back. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a moving company. How could they send a truck across the United States without oil in it?

The truck was falling apart. Gas tank was not full and had to return it full. Dashboard was held together with tape, stearing had excess play, and brakes were not good. Also the back was not swept and the ramp was stuck, near impossible to get out. All in all it made for a terrible move.
