Today I took my dog. He had a 10 o’clock appointment. I spoke to the groomer and I told him what I wanted to cut my hair. I did tell him not to cut around his neck. I wanted to leave that hair to grow out when I went to pick him up, I was upset because my dog looked horrible. I did not like how he looked. He could’ve all his hair around the neck now I have to grow it all back out, I’m not sure if this was a misunderstanding miscommunication or he just didn’t hear me. I love going to happy dog. I’ve been there several times and always done. Great job but today it was the most upsetting day when I picked up my dog.

Horrible service! My wife went there and one of the employees made fun of her accent and told her that they could not cut our dog’s hair.i believe that if a person is trying his/her best to communicate with you at least have the respect and try to help out. It’s not that hard!

Lauren did such a great job with Apollo! Not only does his cut look amazing, but she was also so good with him and made sure to give him several breaks to keep him comfortable. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again! Here are some before and after pics!

The only place I trust in DFW!! I’ve let all the groomers work on my fur babies and I love them all, they are so sweet and greet me as soon as I walk in!! The owner is such a sweet lady and you can tell the groomers have a good time working there??

I have been taking my dogs to Happy Dog Spa for the past 11 years, and I am very happy with the quality and level of service. All of the employees are very friendly and great with my pups, and they always do a great job grooming. Kate, the owner, is wonderful with dogs. I have since moved to Oklahoma City, but I bring my dogs to Kate whenever I visit Texas because I trust that she will do a good job and take great care of my dogs.

My wife and I love this place. They take wonderful care of your fur baby. My dog always looks great after a cut and bath. They're always ready when I arrive with all the details of my dog spa treatment. Been using Happy Dog Spa for years and we will continue.

I have been going here for years and felt I had a good relationship with the staff. Recently though I have been bringing in my german shepherd who has skin issues and requires a medicated shampoo. Instructions are very specific. Apply shampoo, leave on for 10 minutes, rinse very thoroughly and she needs to be completely dry. They have done her 3 times. The first time was fine, last month I picked her up wet and my other dog still had dirt on her chin (I mentioned it to the receptionist but told her that I would take care of it and did) and today. Today when I picked up my shepherd I noticed that there was a greasy looking spot on top of her head. I pointed it out and touched it and told them it was soap. They offered to take her back and towel it off, but she was agitated so I said I would take her home. When I got home I got a wet washcloth and there was alot of soap left on her head. I took a video so I could show the owner and called to ask if I could bring her back in as it was too much to get off with a washcloth. They said they couldn't do it today, but maybe tomorrow. I said it had to be done today as it was medicated shampoo which will burn her skin if not rinsed thoroughly. I asked for the owner to call me and proceeded to my vet's office. The vet's groomer fit her in. I left Daisy there for another rinse and dry. On my way home, Harley (the groomer) called me. She stated that only a drop of shampoo was left on her head. I said it was more and I had a video. She told me that that video would not be considered because I brought my dog home and I could have put more shampoo on her head to make it look worse than it was. I was so offended! I would never do that, I have been a good customer for years, they made a mistake and suggested I would hurt my own dog just to get my money back? When I went to pick Daisy up at the vet, the groomer said that she not only had shampoo left on her head, but on her neck, chest and belly. She said she had not been hand dryed or brushed by the look of her coat. The shampoo had been on her for long enough to cause inflammation of her skin and the vet was called in to check it. It is one thing to make a mistake, it is quite another to make a mistake, refuse to fix it and blame it on the pet owner. I will never bring my dogs there again, and I encourage others to really think about what they are doing with your pets in the back. I am so disappointed and offended.

I paid $20 to get my a nail trim and you can't even tell. It was very chaotic when I was there. Not going back. The people were super sweet.
