Five stars for Russ and Lawrenz Contracting is not enough. I met with Russ, the owner, on a Tuesday. He was so nice. He answered all my questions and explained how everything would work with insurance. His quote was right in line with my insurance company. I had no worries about having to get the insurance to pay out more or pay the difference myself. (Unlike with other quotes I got). Materials and his team showed up the following Monday morning and we're done by that afternoon. The team worked fast, and their cleanup was immaculate. I didn't find any nails or shingles left anywhere. Russ contacted insurance that day to have them issue the final check, and has been so patient as we wait for it to come in. I would 100% recommend Lawrenz Contracting to everyone.

Lawrenz Contracting installed a new roof on my house in Oct 2023, and I purposely waited to fill out a review to make sure that the roof not only looked good but was done right.We moved to the North Dallas area two years ago and have been continuously remodeling our new but older home. I have dealt with several contractors that have not honored and fulfilled their contracts, causing us to lose money and time. We were tired of dealing with contractors that charge a premium and do substandard work.When large hail hit the North Dallas area in May 2023 it did a lot of damage to our property. All I could think of is here we go again with contractors! After getting quotes from several roofing companies, I did not feel comfortable with them and trust them.A neighbor referred us to Russell and the rest is history. He gave us a respectable price for everything and has a custom approach to doing what the homeowner wants. To many contractors listen to the homeowner but don’t give 2 cents what you want done!Russell coordinated everything with us and completed the job on a timely manner. His attention to detail and concern for the customer truly impressed us. He honored and fulfilled the contract and our expectations!Professional, honest, trustworthy, quality work, attention to detail and concern for the customer are what we experienced!

I contacted Lawrenz regarding what I thought was a leak showing up in my bathroom ceiling. I was given a fair proposal to replace pipe cover and the drainage around a skylight. The service was completed timely and at less cost than the proposal. I will use them for my roofing jobs in the future.

I'm so glad I was referred to Russell (Lawrenz Contracting) for my roof replacement. The short version is that I'd recommend him to anyone needing roof work. The longer version...I had some hail damage in 2023. My SafeCo insurance inspector came out and evaluated my roof and confirmed that I'd need a replacement roof. I asked what I should look for in a contractor and she gave me this list: someone who:- won't ask for payment until the job is complete- is insured- offers a minimum warranty of 5 years- pulls any necessary permits- will be personally onsite and/or has a foreman onsite at all times.A friend referred me to Russell, and he came out and did an onsite inspection. During the inspection, he also discovered that I had cedar shake that would also need to be replaced with new decking. The initial adjuster never went into my attack and missed this point.Russell handled filing the supplemental claim with SafeCo (which was approved) and scheduled the work to take place over 2 days later in the month. His team arrived on-time both days and went straight to it. They laid down tarp around my house and removed the cedar shake (which was a very messy process). Russell was onsite for part of the job (on both days), but he also had a project manager Cameron who was onsite the whole time.The entire process was communicated very well at every step of the way. They use an online portal where they document the whole process with photos that you can see if you want. I'm sure they do this for insurance verification purposes, but it's still nice that they made it available to the customer as well.The main reason that I'd recommend them, however, is because there WAS a problem on the first day of the project. One of their workers stepped through a soft spot in my ceiling (which they couldn't have known about) which made a mess in one of our rooms inside the home. I was immediately notified, and they took full responsibility. They had a drywall guy out the next day to patch the whole, and a painter out the day after (who repainted the entire room with color matched paint). It's great to hope that no surprises come up in a project like this, but it's even better to know that when something DOES go wrong you're working with someone who handles those problems with transparency and responsibility. (Their employee was uninjured.)The city inspection (which they scheduled for me) passed with no issues a few days after the project was completed.As a firm, they hit all of the requirements that the adjuster told me to look for, and the whole experience was just very positive (even with the issue I described above) and professional. I'd recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They basically took care of everything and all I had to do was deposit my checks from the insurance company and pay them that amount plus my deductible.

Russ Lawrenz was recommended to us by our real estate agent. We quickly found out why he was at the top of our agents list for roof contractors. Russ was very responsive to all inquiries, his communication was frequent/clear, and his work was top notch pro.

Lawrenz contracting has been out to our home twice for inspections after some hail storms that we thought could have caused some damage. Russ was quick to respond and gave us free estimates each time. We didn’t need any repairs and appreciated his honesty. We will definitely be using this business for any future needs that we may have for our new home.

I am a relatively new homeowner and needed a new roof due to hail damage, Russ was awesome ? He was always available to ask questions, came out to do estimates promptly, helped me understand the insurance process and timing, fair, reasonable comparative prices. The workers arrived early, neat, professional and great job. Lawrenz Contracting will definitely receive my business again!!

Russ made the whole process easy. He gave us plenty of information up front to be able to choose materials and flexibility for the installation date. Everything he said would happen did and on the day he promised. The crew was great and very thorough making sure our property was well protected during the install and clean after the job was done. Our new roof and gutters look great and we are happy with the install. We had a good test because it rained over 10 inches shortly after and not a single issue.
