would not recommend bringing your car here save your money! took in a car that was able to drive and function well. received the car with it sounding like a diesel truck and having to get it jumped and staying on for 10 second just for it turn back off.. got it back worse than it was just for them to say we can’t fix it ???

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I would give this place negative reviews if I could. I drove my car from Cimarron and Yorktown for my car to not even want to run after picking it up. 7 days for them to tell me that all the work they did on it was for nothing and that I ultimately needed a new motor. I was quoted THOUSANDS of dollars for things that didn't even need to replace. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I had a real bad experience with this AAMCO on Leopard Street in Corpus Christi. I brought in my truck for a problem with transmission not going into 4th gear and asked for specific issue to looked at. I was told by Daniel that the transmission needed a rebuild and would take 4-5 days to have ready. After 2 weeks I called and was notified the truck had the exact same issue with transmission not going into 4th gear, keep in mind that the new rebuild was completed but experienced the exact same issue. I believe Daniel overlooked the problem and went straight into needing a rebuild to bill me out thousands instead a minor fix. I was later told that AAMCO caused damaged to other parts of my truck and I should be grateful they fixed the issue they caused and did not care that I lost out on thousands for 2 additional weeks it took them to complete the repair. I would not recommend this particular AAMCO or at the least get a second opinion as I was tied up in another state and couldn’t take the time to have a second opinion for myself. I was also denied the old parts so I could have them inspected and told that 1st through them away. 2nd that I would have to pay for the old parts on my truck and lastly that they would not give them to me. I also asked for a phone call with the owner to express my displeasure with Daniel yelling at me and never got that phone call. I highly recommend thinking twice before allowing Daniel to scam you out of thousands of dollars before you agree.

We were on vacation and our transmission went out while we were driving. Daniel and his team were very helpful, kind and polite. We were able to leave the vehicle and continue our vacation worry free. While replacing a transmission and car trouble are never welcomed, The team at AMCO Corpus Christi made the process easy and quick. Thank you for getting us home safely. ❤️

These guys suck bad. Had my truck in 12 to 15 times in 3 years , they never get it right. Rude staff. Laughing snickering about customers behind their backs. Etc. Go somewhere else.

Update to my review.
I would not recommend AAMCO.
I received my vehicle back in worse condition than it was when I left it with them. They had it for approximately 6 months. I had to drop it back off with them after my initial pick up because the problem I took it in for persisted the following hour after leaving the shop. After they took it back for work under parts and labor warranty, I did not hear back from them for months. They told me parts were hard to find so I gave them time. When I finally decided to call, they told me, they called me the day after I dropped it off to tell me the warranty expired.
The warranty expired while it was under their possession and they then offered to sell me another part.
My 4 wheel drive worked before I left it with them and I can no longer put the vehicle in 4 wheel drive or drive it for longer than 3 minutes.
All this while they assure me that, " your vehicle is repaired and runs fine".
Their customer service is okay but that's how they trapped me into trusting them.
I do not recommend AAMCO.

Thank u to Ernest for taking the time to explain the process of the diagnostics when I first called in to ask questions. A BIG thank u to Daniel for the explanation on the process of replacing the transmission. Got that done. Engine light came on & it was a sensor got that done. Truck did not start it was the starter got that done. Everything happened at once as the truck was already in the shop. Daniel kept us updated through out the whole process. I highly recommend AAMCO. They took care of all our truck needs in a timely manner.
