5 Stars – A Pleasant Surprise at Dollar General!
I recently stopped by Dollar General Store #3411 on Leopard Street, and I just have to say… the highlight of my visit wasn’t just the great deals or how easy it was to find everything — it was the cashier, Angel.
From the moment I got to the register, Angel greeted me with such a kind smile and genuinely sweet energy. She was not only super helpful and polite, but her personality just lit up the place. On top of all that? Her nails were on point — beautifully designed and clearly done with care. A little style moment at the checkout that didn’t go unnoticed!
She had a unique presence — something about her stood out in the best way. Pretty, kind, and made my shopping experience feel more like a friendly visit than just another errand. It’s rare to come across someone who makes that kind of impression.
Big thanks to Angel for being so wonderful, and to the store for having such a gem on staff. I’ll definitely be back.

Had problems with manager. She kept saying that the girl at register could get fired because of her voids trying to help me. There register was refusing my OTC card. Even though the app displayed it would cover it. Manager kept saying I didn’t have funds when I had more than enough. I just hope she doesn’t fire the girl at register for trying to help me.
Also, tried calling the store to let them know that the problem was their register and their phone is not working. 😡

There are several things cheaper here than HEB, so I'm there regularly. Good crew, always have had a good rapport with these guys. It's a tough job but they have made my day at times!!

Got accused of stealing even though I walked right up to the counter and asked for the ear buds never been Disrespected at this store before the staff has always been helpful hope they fix the problem
