“5 Stars – A Pleasant Surprise at Dollar General!
I recently stopped by Dollar General Store #3411 on Leopard Street, and I just have to say… the highlight of my visit wasn’t just the great deals or how easy it was to find everything — it was the cashier, Angel.
From the moment I got to the register, Angel greeted me with such a kind smile and genuinely sweet energy. She was not only super helpful and polite, but her personality just lit up the place. On top of all that? Her nails were on point — beautifully designed and clearly done with care. A little style moment at the checkout that didn’t go unnoticed!
She had a unique presence — something about her stood out in the best way. Pretty, kind, and made my shopping experience feel more like a friendly visit than just another errand. It’s rare to come across someone who makes that kind of impression.
Big thanks to Angel for being so wonderful, and to the store for having such a gem on staff. I’ll definitely be back.”
“This Dollar Tree was on the medium side on the inside! Everything was pretty nice and neat. They had a great selection in this Dollar Tree for the size. This Dollar Tree also had a very nice staff, too! Always answered my questions in a pleasant manner! Would recommend it if you are in the west side of Corpus Christi!”

“Great selection at this Dollar Tree! Shelves are always neatly stocked full of the product I need, and it's got a good sense of cleanliness in here! Definitely not afraid to walk into this store without wearing my mask here. Love shopping for seasonal decorations here! Clerks are always friendly and seem to know when you do and do not want your receipt.”

“This has got to be the best store to go. Clean and organized store. The employees are nice,patient and go beyond to help out. They really take care of the regulars. I was in a hurry to go to work and left my phone there with my credit cards. I did not know this until my daughter was helping me look for it. She picked it up for me and everything was exactly how I left it. I’m so glad they immediately picked it up and put it away to give me time to go get it. “I’m staying here at Corpus Christi for a couple weeks because of my daughter’s surgery and I have come here twice and the gentleman GABE is a brilliant employee who loves his job, very polite and loves to communicate with costumers. “Clean store, always has what I need, and is very convenient to me where I live. Staff here treats you right! Only problem I've had, was having to take my backpack off and leave it at the cash register. But I get that, they're trying to reduce the shoplifting numbers. “This Dollar General is definitely an old building, seen the heat and all, yeah I get it. After reading reviews from the past, good and bad, I can confirm they have worked very hard over the years to ensure any and all issues mentioned are resolved, because I haven’t ever experienced these hazards anytime I’m on a quest to buy milk and cookies????”
“I didn't ask her name, but the lady who answered my question on DG return policy was super nice and kind. Went to the DG on Ayers, had a $3 return (with reciept & tags, within 30 days of purchase) to apply to a new $20 purchase and the rude lady at checkout denied my return "because it's already January". I hope this store on Navigation recognizes the kind lady. Thank you again.”
“This is my favorite Family Dollar in town. It's always clean, doesn't stink, isn't trash on the floor, they always greet you & are always helpful. There are never disheveled shelves or just stuff in random places or thrown about, BECAUSE the staff stay busy & I'm sure there are customers who make plenty of mess. There are carts there in isles a lot for stocking, but it's always out of the way as much as possible. Some family dollar stores are AWFUL! GOOD JOB YA'LL”
“First time visiting a plus store. I don't believe they advertise this @ the store level. It was nice to see a bigger selection of items, some are higher quality which I do not mind paying a bit more for. Went home with what I needed and @ a fair price!!!”

“I enjoy this store, I have shopped at a lot of them. The employees go out of their way to try and help you. Seems a little smaller then some of the others but I usually find what I want and things I did not know I wanted. Noticed they have some things marked $5, so there goes our true dollar store.”

“There has now been a change in staff and managers and it’s a completely different environment in there. I cannot remember the managers name but he was so nice and so is the rest of the new staff I have seen so far. So grateful for this change. Yes I recommend ✅”
“This is my local Dollar General. They just underwent a remodeling. The store is nicely set up. For the most part especially lately the employees have been very polite and helpful. A while back there were some employees that were not so polite but I haven’t seen those same people in quite some time,
They extended the cold and frozen foods to line 2 walls instead of just one and a half. They seem to have more merchandise. They still have Christmas stuff on clearance.
The store is relatively clean, but there are usually only two employees so I assume it’s not quite as easy to pick up things that people drop. Throughout the whole store. The only problem I saw on the floor was someone had knocked all the hangers down, and they hadn’t been picked up yet. Otherwise, the clerk was extremely polite
Overall it was an excellent experience. By the way, another Dollar General opened just a couple of miles away at Yorktown and Waldron. Look for reviews on that. It seems to be a much larger store with a much greater selection, but surprisingly, there are no clerks. All machines are self-serve and they do not take EBT thus far and it been several months.”
“I went into the store here in annaville at around 1:30 pm i really enjoy going in there when the 2 young ladies that were working there. They are very friendly and very customer service skills. I wish that store would have more employees like those 2 young ladies.”
