The only thing good I have to say is the salsa is okay. Tamales no good barbacoa no good tortillas they just are not like the way my great aunt used to make they are too crusty and just not cooked well

Three stars for for customer service because they met my expectations. They didn’t go above and beyond. Food was warm, taste was ok, tortilla lacked color too thick, texture was a bit off and it was salted fine.

I was searching for breakfast tacos made with homemade tortillas. Let me tell you, these are the best tacos I've had in Corpus Christi. By far, they are the best tacos I've ever tasted! I will definitely return to this place the next time I'm in town.

Service just continues to go downhill without the traditional owners running it. ? They are not using the warmer in the front anymore and evertime I've gone for chicarrones and barbacoa it's cold, and I hate having to use my microwave to heat my breakfast up when I paid for it to be hot. Another thing looks like they pre serve the Chile in a cup and fridge over night or something cause that to isn't fresh, when I get it it has a frozen layer on the top and watered down. ?Now they have no corn tortillas and don't know when they'll have them again, how is that you're a Tortilla Factory ?? smdh and don't try calling in your order cause they rarely answer, not to mention there hours cutting down ? I go on a weekly to this place was one of my favorites no matter what you ordered is what great food along with great service, generation difference at it's max right here. Thanks but no thanks, finding a new place for this coming up week I'm done. One star waisted just to post??

The tamales at El Ranchero are the best. They almost taste like my my moms tamales she used to ma. Very flavorful! The customer service is also great! I definitely recommend this place!!!!
