It was kind of a mess to deal with. Stopped to check on my gift card to see if it was still valid. The employees kept scanning but it kept saying invalid pin but when we tried updating the balance it kept giving the same $50 amount. They gave me a number to call so I called while I was shopping for the items we came for. The number was disconnected. I went back to customer service and the manager told me that happens all the time with Home Depot. She gave me three additional numbers to call. The first 2 were also disconnected. I finally got in touch with someone that could not help me but transferred me to retail sales? He told me he was connecting me. I sat on hold until they answered. He turned the call over to them and they both hung up. Frustrating.

It’s pretty sad when you ask for help and the associate says, get your own cart and then I can maybe help you. She clearly was bothered by me asking if we could get help at the appliances, trying to buy a refrigerator. We loaded it and checked out on our own with no help. Two young men helped load it in the truck.

Just purchased a lawnmower 3 months ago. The lady in the returns area told me they don't honor gas purchases more than 30 days old. I was upset because i had shopped here for so long. Now I'm gone.

Checked online for the things I needed at this store, and all the items I wanted were in stock. Not trusting the online amount in stock I called the store to check forget that, total chaos. Never could get anyone to answer the phone. So I drove 30 miles. One item online said 11, store had 0. The next item, online 4 store 0 and the next item online 3, store 0, never could find it.

I was there a few days ago and I was trying to get an appliance replaced because they told me the one I had delivered they could not install for me. So I returned it and later on came in to see what I could do about it. After a while of waiting a lady came to help me she did her best to help me but when I explained the issue she explained to me this isn’t her department and she honestly doesn’t know how to go about this specific situation and would find out from someone who might. She called for help 3 different times right in front of me. The first time no one answered the second time they just told her that everyone was on lunch. And the last time she called for a manager and only then did someone come back and it sounded like they asked her to assist the customer after she told them she didn’t know how to with this situation only THEN did somebody come to help her and one of the multiple “managers” if that’s what you’d call them was giving her dirty looks and If your company is not going to properly train employees then don’t get mad at them when they call for help to get the job done. Absolutely ridiculous never in my 53 years of life had I seen such horrible customer service like this. Really disappointing coming from the company who claims to be all about their community. And I give kudos to the young lady she kept apologizing repeatedly that no one was answering. But I knew she was trying to help.
