It’s common courtesy right after you receive an email for you to call and ask for information about what’s the offer that they are telling you about. I am a cancer patient and I was just letting her know that I made the appointment at 12 o’clock and then I was gonna wear a mask for my own safety. I am taking radiation that does not affect anybody else, but my immune system is down and Maybe they are sick and I can get affected more than they will. Why did this lady call me back and like acted like I was like gonna cause them harm or something it’s very unprofessional first of all. I didn’t have to tell them anything and I did it because I want myself to be first, but I will not do business with them anymore.

All and all a terrible experience from the moment I walked in the lady I had an appointment with (Rita) was closely looking at my paper work while the receptionist had it then took me to the back and was awful to me. Basically saying I should leave and come back next year if I decide to make more money. Completely humiliating.

Horrible! Valerie my tax professional... didn't tell me what all I needed to bring in to the office to file Jan 4th for my scheduled appointment, and told me i had to add up all my receipts and income. We did what we could and I returned the next day with what I was told would be acceptable. Got denied, she put my ss# in wrong. Got denied again, she said it was my name. Got denied again and was told it's my name. Got denied again and was asked to go into the office, found out it my my health insurance numbers wrong. Figured that out and was told to expect my return by the 12th. Today I found out its expect on the 27th of February... originally filed Jan 5th. Called today Feb 13th 2024, asked for the number to call for Corpus main office, she said "Google it like you did our number!" Then hung up on me! Straight hung up with an attitude ? ? ? they charged me over $400 to mess up everything and where Horrible with any kind of customer service. Stay away from flour bluff location. Shame on you at this location, maybe if Valerie wasn't on her phone FaceTime with her son the the whole time she might have at least got something done, our if the manager that she had to ask questions on everything about would've gave me 1 shred of decency I would gave them 2 stars, but this was the worst experience of filing taxes ever in my life! I'm 40

Worst Service Ever. I went to this H&R office location, after being a loyal client in the past 4 Years, to another location in Miami. I was expecting to do my Tax Declaration and Payment online as I had been doing in the past. The Tax Preparer messed up and hit the wrong key leaving me without the option but paying manually later. Basically, I had spent $230 to go out of the office in the same stage that when entering, then the Supervisor "Beatriz Minton" was trying to downsize the issue saying that "was a honest Mistake", what's wrong with you people? that's why I am paying to you to do my taxes, if I want mistakes, I can do it that in my own. Stay away from this office.

My new name for this place is H & R Blockhead. This year I used the same preparer I saw last year, because she had seemed really good. She had told me how to change my deductions and how much extra taxes to have taken out of each paycheck so I wouldn't owe anything this year. However, when I saw her in January, she said I owed roughly 5 times what I really did. She gave my file to a colleague so another set of eyes could check for errors. That preparer said I owe the same amount I did before I made the changes. Really? Also, the office manager--who later admitted she does not do tax prep--told me I needed to provide two more documents before they could finalize my return. One was a form which she somehow did not see I had already provided and the other was a form I was not familiar with but which she said was required. I spent 3 days calling my former employer, the company that administers my medical insurance, the medical insurance carrier itself, and the Social Security Administration trying to track down this "missing" form before I learned it does not even apply to me. I had had it. I contacted the second preparer and requested a major reduction in my fee. When the office manager called and said the best they could do was to lower it from $240 to $200, I said I'd have my taxes done elsewhere.
