Didn't have many problems with this Bank on shoreline seeing as how I've been banking there for 25 effing years, but lately they've just been giving me a hard time asking me if I have an account there and I'm trying to cash a check from my employer for 3 years and they still ask me if I have an account and they inform me that they cannot cash my check that can only deposit it and the funds will be available the next day! B******* I have overdraft protection and they should know that and they should cash my check anyway because I've been a customer for 25 years and my employer is reputable the checks will not bounce! Also the wait times can be tedious. And sometimes there is confusion about how much money to give back you ask for several hundreds and the teller wants to give you several hundreds in ones in $1 bills!

Ok I have had my account for two years with IBC bank . With the pandemic life got just a bit harder so me and my husband lost jobs so our account got sent to collections. My husband qualified for unemployment and his direct deposit was to this account . They accepted the first payment and applied it to my account . (Mind you I have never added my husband to my account but checks were accepted ) The second unemployment check was denied and sent back because he was not on my account. So we are a struggling family with a lot of bills. If they take one but not the other. The collections portion was not clear that I wanted to pay off my debt and reopen a new account . But instead they were rude and just disrespectful towards me like if I did something wrong for calling them and bothering them. I hope IBC bank can get a handle on their employees to make it a better experience. Oh and now I cannot open another account with IBC bank because I was asking of their policies and questioning their actions. I also requested the first unemployment deposit be returned “since it was in my husbands name”.

This banks employees are unqualified, and at least one of them steals, will be calling corporate. Been with this bank for years, miraculously not until the corona outbreak, did they need to see my ID for EVERY SINGLE in person transaction. Complained, so they gave me my withdrawal in $1s...... Spoke to the manager and her lackey, nothing resolved, got home and of course I’m short. So in conclusion, if you’re gonna do business here, be prepared to deal with horrible employees who don’t care about your health, have little to no professionalism, and either don’t know how to count, steal, or all of the above.

IBC Bank does not live by its catchy motto! I gave IBC a second chance to prove their customer dedication. I called today regarding a direct deposit issue. I was informed by Crystal, that my account was closed due to inactivity for 3 months. However, I was using online banking on and off to check my account status. I was never informed by email, mail or by text that my account will close. Due to their failure to communicate, my check was rejected! I was very disappointed and asked Crystal to verify my account is closed. She never offered to reinstate my account when in fact it is possible. They don't have very smart people here because they know nothing. Oh, it reminds me to rephrase their new motto as: WE DO NOTHING! (Rating: 0 STARS)

The Rockport branch has the worst customer service. I have called several times within 4 days to speak with bank manager & it just rings, rings, rings. Doesn't transfer back to a person to leave a msg. I usually sit in drive thru line for 10 min to make a simple deposit. That's with no other customers in line. Very frustrated!!

Terrible bank. "Free checking" stole $70 from me less than 3 weeks after opening my account because of a BANK ERROR that the bank will not take responsibility for. Run to a better bank, this one is run by thieves!

I banked at Ibc for 3 1/2 yrs, they never would give my husband an account with me saying he was in check systems. So we found out he was and paid it, brought the paper work in saying he had paid it to a local branch who then had to fax it to corporate to see what they would say. Well they never got the fax and the lady who faxed it acted like she didnt know what i was talking about. Then I went to the corporate office who then wouldnt let my husband open an account (they would take his money but he couldnt be on the account) at first the lady was nice then once she found said he was in check systems she became very rude and we started to argue because of her rudeness, then a few days later that same lady called me and told me I could no longer bank with them,(kind of rubbing it in my face) when I think they should have had someone else call me. Well it was a big ordeal but I was able to keep my account because at the time i didnt want to deal with anohter bank. Then I lost my debit card si they canceled that one and ordered me another. Well about a month later I still hadnt recieved it so I went in and they ordred me another one, still never got it after a few weeks I went back I did this one more time before someon finally found the problem, how imcompetent. So after that I decided to go to another bank. The bank I am with now are very friendly they got my husband an account because they said he WASNT in check systems and obviously never was because it doenst come off check systems for 7 yrs. Not only that but they work with you i have accidentally overdrafted they called me out of courtesy and didnt charge me and overdraft fee something IBC bank would never do. Also my parents have had many issues with this bank as well IBC is not a good bank in servie or comstumer service I would NOT recomend this bank to anyone.
