The store manager tried to tell me that my car requires full synthetic oil when I know my vehicle uses synthetic blend. He did this after making me wait 30 minutes because all the mechanics were working on 1 vehicle! He clearly didn’t want to do my oil change at the $24.99 offered price. I will NEVER go to Midas again!!!!!

Has huge sign outside saying free a/c check. Get inside and am told it'll cost $180 for them to check it.

Stopped for gas next door, saw a sign at Midas said 39.99 oil change, so I stopped in and waited at the counter for several minutes with no attention to me. There was a group of 5 employees 10’ from me so I took my business else where.

This place is not to be trusted. I went in to get an inspection and see if my battery was good. They told me my wiper blades were ripped, they weren’t they were actually new. The man with glasses and a beard that works the front told me my battery was checked twice and that it was bad and wanted to charge me 500+. I took it in to another place where they don’t get commission and they told me my battery was perfectly fine. This place takes advantage of people for extra money, you don’t know customers financial situations. You lost me as a customer along with everyone else I’ve told and anyone else who takes my world for this. They also upcharged me an extra 100 dollars on things I genuinely thought I needed until I left and was told battery was perfectly fine, that I then realized what type of business they were running.

Took my car here for an oil change and rotation. First, they told me they did NOT rotate the tires because the car didn’t need it (didn’t want to argue cause I had to leave). Second, they tightened the bolt onto my car’s oil cover so tight that the next three shops I went to recently said they could not get it off without destroying it. Will not visit this Midas location again and I will not recommend anyone do the same.

Couldn’t even get anyone to talk to me for service. when I did talk to someone he told me to wait so he could walk to the store. Poor service for a dead place so I took my business to brake check

Women need to stay away from this place and men too. They will definitely take advantage and lie to you telling you your car need parts that don't need replaced. I went for a simple tune-up to replace spark plugs even though my car started and ran with no problem and added an oil change. Steven told me I had a bad coil and needed a new belt. My car showed no symptoms that warranted a new coil. He charged me over $200 for a coil that retails for $75 and that was the part only. The belt had only 40,000 miles on it and Hyundai dealership said 200 miles ago that it was good. I learned they don't usually need replaced until around 90,000 miles. So it didn't need replaced either. The total bill was $730.56 for work that took 30 minutes. That's for spark plugs, a belt, a coil and oil change. All costing less than $75. I contacted Midas corporate offices by mail and explained the situation and said further that I could no longer trust Midas and wanted a partial refund. They forwarded my letter to Steven. He called me and didn't have much to say. I had to keep saying 'did you read my letter, because he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I told him I wanted a partial refund. He offered me a credit. I said no, a partial refund. Why would I want to go back to a shop that cheated me. He said he'd have to submit for a refund. I called back a few weeks later to check on the refund status and he would not answer the phone and I tried several times. He eventually blocked my number. I held off from writing this review until now to give them the chance to do the right thing. But they haven't. I see their 1 star ratings are starting to add up.
9/2024 - I've read these reviews since I posted mine and many are obviously fake written for the purpose of raising their 3 star rating up to 4. Pay attention to the low rating reviews because they are all similar. I went there for years to have my oil changed with no problems but the minute I needed work done, they scammed me.

These guys are consistently honest, fair, and friendly. The service manager, Steven, is courteous, knowledgeable, and helps you figure out options. Tristan was my tech and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even called to let me know my vehicle was ready, and he left a message when I couldn’t be reached.

Wheel alignment and oil change said 2-3 hours but called sooner so happy with the work they did also patched my tire . Gentlemen at front was chill and helpful . Had oakleys in the car and were not messed with
