Great selection of Middle Eastern and International foods & spices. I got a soda, some chamomile flowers for tea, and four slices of their made-in-house baklava. The baklava was amazing and singe-handedly made the trip worth it.

Bought shanklish from here a bit ago. Owner was nice and the store stock was very diverse, definitely has stuff you can't find at any other mart.

Haven't been to the market but have been in the restaurant. As far as I have seen women run it and it's very clean. The seating area is well organized and has place for around 15 people. The food is very tasty and almost every customer gives a satisfying complement while leaving based on my observation. I loved the chiken and it had a homemade taste and gave homy vibes.

We had the intention of checking out if they had the knafeh pastry to make the very famous chocolate bar, and rumor has it that this store was selling the chocolate bars.
Although the effort is much appreciated to make it, executing it was not very impressive in my opinion. For $10 per bar, the chocolate to filling ratio was not worth that price tag. Both the top and bottom layers were thick, and there was a very thin layer of the filling. We mostly tasted chocolate then the crunch, the two thick layers of chocolate definitely drowned any taste of pistachio which was slightly disappointing because we were looking forward to trying this viral sensation.
By the looks of it just through the display case, I had an inkling it would be that way, but truly the effort was there. We also got the Pistachio Baklava, and that was delicious! I liked that more than the chocolate. I guess I will have to continue my search for this coveted item, or just make it myself.
The store itself seemed like they had plenty of items to browse and look at, which next time we will take the time to peruse the store.
