Office closed up the day after taxes were due and I could not get a status on my taxes for weeks. Initially Mr. Daniel Ward was waiting on further expenses from my husband who is a truckdriver and was out of town. When we panicked and realized we were late we were told by another CPA and a few other people that if we had been with Daniel Ward for years (we had) he would take care of us and file an extension. Plus we had never heard one peep from his office. In previous years, that office always called me or emailed me with questions or reminders. That’s why we pay a CPA hundreds of dollars (about $300) when filing taxes alone itself is free. His attitude was nothing but dismissive and nonchalant. Attached is the email response I finally got back last week that shows his blatant disregard. We went somewhere else and will never go back. His lack of communication and professionalism cost us late fees with the IRS and I certainly will be filing an official complaint.

Daniel and his staff including his wife and daughter which are all part of the business and have their own expertise are wonderful. Not just professional but also caring Christian folks. They care as much about you as they do their own business. That’s not found much if any these days. I owned my own business for years and it’s hard to please everybody with a smile and they do it. They save me money by using them and I’m sure they will do the same for you.

My family and I have received tax services and help from Neal Tax Service for the last seven years or so. Mandy and Brooke always make us feel incredibly welcome and Daniel has always been very patient and knowledgeable with me and all of my questions. For anyone looking for a Tax Service in Corpus Christi, I highly recommend them!
