NEVER AGAIN!! All I wanted was my tires swapped out with the TPMS transferred over to the original tires. Drove off 2 hours later, after having an appointment, realizing that didn't happen. So, I go back with my tires again and they took almost 3hrs this time. Get home and realized they didn't put my valve stems back in other rims. Tires off the rims mind you, i didnt give them to you like that. They had valve stems when I took them to you. Straight garbage. Yeah, I want ALL THE SMOKE. This is straight BS. You got me. I didn't pay you half the money but you gave me an ass job, not even half ass. And the brother in the front. That should have told me something from the jump. Bro, you don't need to be in the front or the back. You don't have a clue. But I tell you what, you ain't got to EVER WORRY ABOUT ME COMING BACK FOR YOUR SERVICE EVER AGAIN. I MEAN THAT.

Competitive prices, and warranty. Quicker service and install than Discount
. Update ,
Management/ has changed, can no longer recommend. Without your own diligence and warranty/road hazard proof ,customer is wrong, as they can’t be bothered to look it up. 5 sets of tires later going back to Discount for the customer service alone .

Wasted 2 hours and 98$ after being told that I would have to take my car into the dealership for alignment as they are not able to do it ……. why not tell me that to begin with what a scam.

I went to Big O’s today to get some tires for my car. The only reason I went to Big O’s to get tires was because I had gotten a coupon in the mail that would reduce the amount for the tires. Upon presenting the coupon at the end of the transaction, I was told they would not be able to honor it. Why mail out coupons which you will not honor? I was told they would not be honored at either of the in Corpus locations . The coupons were set to expire at the end of July 31, 2024. As proof, I added the coupons they sent out in the mail and the date of this post is 07/29/2024. That’s bad business practices in my opinion.

At least one blatantly dishonest employee. I went in for alignment, and a tire separated on the way in. I am 150mi from home, and there is no other tire shop open. Despite me openly worrying about price and being a disabled veteran on a fixed income, the employee lies and says all 4 tires separated to get me to do a full replacement, rather than the two tire replacement (maintain even wear between left and right sides of the vehicle.)
The manager then tries to say I can't prove the tires weren't separated because they aren't on a rim anymore. I told him the Discount Auto I bought the original set of tires from put them on rims to check them, and found that only one tire had separated. This call was while I was in the discount tires and the second tire had already come back as not separated.
He puts me on hold, then comes back and says his employee claims he told me only one tire was separated and I told them to replace all 4 tires, anyway. Even though my wife is a witness that they said all 4 were separated.
I believe the fact that I remembered the Discount tire warranty is the only reason I discovered this
I will call corporate Big O when they open on Monday, and if they do not resolve this in the manner that is fair and reasonable, I will complain to the BBB, the Texas Attorney General's office, and the Federal Trade Commission. I also may sue for triple damages award in accordance with the Texas Business Code if I have to complain to the appropriate state and federal offices because of a refusal to fairly and reasonably resolve this issue.
BTW, my definition of fair and reasonable solution: $135.36 refund for the two tires I would not have replaced but for the deceptive trade act as defined in TX Business Code Title 2 §17.46 (b)(13) and the dismounting/mounting/balancing fee for those two tires. I am not asking for anything for the wasted time, emotional distress (I am stressed over money and pissed over the disrespect inherent in dishonesty), as a result of at least one dishonest employee.

Had a good experience with a new manager. Daniel. Went for a front end alignment by a technician by the name of Danny who did a good job aligning the front end.

Updating my review because maybe 3 years ago this shop was okay but since all the staff changes it's gone downhill QUICK. No such thing as an appointment, you can wait all day and they'll still keep your car overnight, or tell you to come back, and they'll still get someone else in first. We had our car aligned here last month, got the year warranty, had a minor repair done and needed another alignment and they refused, citing a whole slew of problems that were never mentioned by them OR the body shop that just diagnosed and repaired the car. (After waiting an hour and a half after our appointment time for the alignment, btw.) Will be asking for a refund on the original alignment because according to the mechanic, one was never done! Never going back. Don't waste your time here.

Okay let’s try this again. After some back and forth on other issues we are in good shape. The store personnel is great. The manager Daniel is a great person. He does take accountability for his store and that’s appreciated. They have installed in the past two tires for us and were fast and efficient in doing so. We had a rotate and balance done something didn’t feel quite right so I returned and was taken care of. I want to thank everyone who was involved in fixing their air conditioning it has been hot. Anyway it’s a good place. It’s just hard to get ahold of upper management if you need to. Again this issue has been resolved. Thanks again.

Edit my original review from 5 stars to 1. Here's why: Upon returning home from our service, we discovered that the tech working on our vehicle did not rotate the tires front to back as we requested. Additionally, one of the tires was not balanced. So, my husband had to go back to the store the next day and wait for an hour in the heat for them to correct their mistake. The tech who performed our rotation/balance is “new,” which probably explains why we waited TWO HOURS for a rotation/balance. We called the customer relations hotline, hoping to speak with upper management. It is now three days later, and after repeated follow-ups by us, we have yet to hear from anyone. Y'all, do yourself a favor, save yourself a headache, and go to Firestone across the street.
The service is fantastic, and the employees are amazing, but please - MANAGEMENT!!! FIX YOUR A/C!!!!! We came in three weeks ago and the AC was out. We are now here today 5/27 and it’s still out!! Your employees are working by in dangerously hot temperatures, your customers are sitting in a waiting room that is at least 92 degrees! This is a huge problem and you’re going to have employees getting sick on you. God bless these guys working in this each and every day and still have smiles on their faces.
