Bottom Line Up Front: Take your business elsewhere. I had 5 garments in for one day turnaround service before leaving for a professional conference the next day. I called the night before pick-up to confirm the store would be open as posted at 6:30AM and was told yes. When I arrived at 7:30AM the next morning, no one was there. When I called the central location the person on the phone said they’re short staffed and didn't seem to care or understand the urgency of my situation. Someone finally arrived at 9:00AM. The guy who opened the store was in no hurry and offered no apology. When I asked why the store wasn’t open at 6:30 as advertised, he said “it was a schedule mix-up” like it was no big deal. After talking to another customer in the parking lot and reading other reviews, this is not an isolated incident. Overall, the garments were fine, but the turmoil it caused, and the indifference from the employees was unacceptable.
If you’re counting on professional, courteous, and dependable service GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

This place always burns and ruins clothes and they dont take responsibility. The workers only last 1 month so it's also pure chaos of inexperienced employees. Go anywhere else.

Worst possible cleaners in the universe. They have my clothes hostage. Never actually open. Been driving by all day! I even checked to see if they were out back. Nobody is there!! This happens all the time there. No answer and nobody there. ALWAYS CLOSED DURING BUSINESS HOURS! I’ll never go there again. Monday at 11:22 am and still nobody there. 3:20pm. Still nobody. I need my clothes to leave town!!! These are my suits!!!!

They left a sign on the door that said “back in 20 minutes”, which could mean in 20 minutes or in under a minute depending on when they left. Who knows. Either way, that sign is meant to make me take my clothes somewhere else. I did that. Next time if you have to close during regular business hours, put the time you left on the sign or make a real sign saying when you’ll be back so we don’t get upset and leave. Because I can’t guess.

I recommend not using Peerless Cleaners here in the Corpus area. There was stains on my shirts and the local management/administration was slow to resolve the issue and did not respond to our calls. I did receive my shirts back a couple of months after the issue, but there was no apology and simply a lack of customer service. New management is needed.

On April 28, 2025, I dropped off several items of clothing at [Insert Business Name] for dry cleaning and pressing.
Dry Clean:
4 Pants
4 Vests
2 Hawaiian Shirts
3 Heritage Shirts
Press Only:
4 Shirts:
1 White with TAMUCC logo
1 Blue with TAMUCC logo
1 Plain White (Calvin Klein)
1 Gray (Calvin Klein)
I paid approximately $91 when I picked them up on May 2.
On May 12, I reviewed the items and found that 4 long sleeve dress shirts were missing
When I returned to the location to investigate, the employee printed order tickets that did not match what was originally dropped off or what I received. According to their system, I received 4 pants 3 vests and 3 heritage shirts — which is inaccurate. The actual items I picked up were:
4 Pants
4 Vests
2 Hawaiian Shirts
3 Heritage Shirts
I made multiple attempts to reach a manager:
May 12: Called the store with full details. No call back.
May 17: Visited main location. Told I would receive a call. No follow-up.
May 23: Called again. Told manager had been out. Still no action taken.
Given the discrepancies in records, the refusal to return calls, and the lack of any investigation, I now believe the missing items were stolen by an employee or employees for personal use or resale. I am requesting that this report be taken seriously and investigated as a possible theft of personal property.

I decided to try them and the young lady was so rude, I said never-mind and left. I think she was training someone as well.

I expect a certain level of courtesy and professionalism when I pay for a service, but Peerless Cleaners and Crystal failed miserably on both counts. I will never be returning to this establishment and will be sure to share my experience with others to warn them of the poor service and rude staff they might encounter.

This is the worst dry cleaner I have ever been to. I have visited the 3 times, and each time my experience has gotten worse. First, they over charge for a service which is extremely unreliable. When you drop off your clothes with these people there is no way of knowing when you’ll get it back. It took 6 days to dry clean 2 pairs of pants and 3 dresses. They’re posted hours of operation seem to be only a suggestion since they are closed during posted days open. Last Friday and Saturday they were closed. Why???? No real explanation??? I will never patronize this place again. They are crooks who do god knows what with your clothes when they have them. Please join me in boycotting this company and show them that the residents of Corpus demand better service.

IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS I WOULD. I am absolutely shocked at how awful the customer service was at this location. The lady over the counter (Crystal) was the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. My husband left clothes on a Wednesday to be ready by Friday for a work trip out of town. When clothes went to be picked up Saturday morning Crystal was very rude and basically said the truck never came in and clothes wouldn't be ready until Monday. She had no explanation, no apology, and basically told my husband too bad when he explained he needed this clothes for a trip he flies out of on Sunday evening. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE and do not waste your money or time on them. That lady should never be hired for any job with the poor attitude, and lack of professionalism she has.
Very disappointing and a sad excuse for a business if these are the type of people they hire.

Horrible customer service, did not get what we requested. We requested welder starch on my husband’s shirts, but when they arrived it was not starched at all. They said if we wanted it to be starched again, we had to pay twice. After a phone call, the employee agreed to send it back to be done correctly using welder. Days later we came to pick up shirts and they were not ready. Came back again and they couldn’t locate them. I had to search myself and found them with a note stating the shirts couldn’t hold heavy starch! WTH? Horrible!!!?????
