Patsey and the team at Ron Hoover are amazing! From walking in the door to taking delivery early, professionalism, attention to detail and accurate communication were at the forefront of their customer service! They gave us exactly what we asked for, and did not fumble the ball once! I could not ask for a more pleasurable experience from buying a recreational vehicle! Thank you Taylor & Ron Hoover team!!

Patsy and the team are awesome! Our new boat had a few things to correct before delivery, and these folks went above and beyond to make sure we got a beautiful boat! There are always things that can improve, but the level of care they showed was awesome.

EDITED FOR UPDATES: I wouldn't refer anyone to spend a dime at any Ron Hoover location. Especially not a woman or a healthcare worker. I bought my first RV here last summer & afterwards several members of the local RV community warned me to stay away & now I'm doing the same bc I didn't listen.When I was in for service last November I was working night shift & went in the previous day to get the RV diagnosed, was up most of that day, went in the next day to get it worked on so had a total of about 2 hours of sleep & had to work that night as well. I fell asleep laying down in one of the chairs & the GM very loudly came over & made a scene about how this was a dealership & it was not a place to sleep. I explained my situation & he didn't care. He had spent THE PAST THREE HOURS DOING NOTHING except cackling & talking in the finance guys office. When I told him there was supposed to be a shuttle that day & that's why I hadn't made arrangements for a ride he just said well there's not one & that I needed to sit up. A GM would have offered me a ride but not King Baby.Then in February I had a question for the service manager, who had taken the time to build a rapport with me for the past 6 months. That day he was aggressive, rude & disrespectful. Every question I asked he acted like I was stupid. After I got off the phone I just started crying. He made zero attempts to ever apologize or take ownership for this behavior. EVERY DAY SINCE THEN I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THE WAY I WAS TREATED & WHY SOMEONE WOULD TREAT A CUSTOMER THAT WAY FOR NO REASON.As a woman this was by far my worst experience as a customer & I would never want someone to be treated the way I was. Only cowards enjoy humiliating or putting someone else down to make themselves feel better. Behavior like this has no place in a business & there's no excuse for it in management. This was the biggest purchase of my life. I am disgusted that management felt they could treat me however they wanted & for no reason. They are okay with treating their customers however they want bc they know there's no consequences.When this was brought to upper management's attention I was told that everyone is always treated fairly at Ron Hoover & that management's response at Corpus was that communication & the customer relationship with me has always been good. They had zero remorse for their behavior & didn't care how their actions affected me, so they lied.I initiated a conversation about an extended warranty for the chassis during signing, as it was used & was told that the only coverage available was for the coach. I purchased the warranty I was told was available. When I had issues with my RV overheating when driven at highway speeds they had told me initially after I bought it that it just needed to be drove further distances. Then it did it again recently.I asked them to help me out but they refused to do right by me even though I spent almost $100K at their business. They wouldn't even refund the money I had to pay out of pocket for an oil change or put that towards helping me out even though the dealership was supposed to change the oil. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE. All they care about is the sale. My review is just one example. They have a D- rating with the BBB for a reason. Even the VP & President display strong narcissistic behaviors but play the victim if you call them out on their bs.They later lied & said I declined chassis coverage at signing then had to eat their words. It was through their lies, foolishness & absolute incompetence that I found out I had chassis coverage the entire time. THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TYPE OF EXTENDED WARRANTY THEY SOLD ME & GAVE ME THE WRONG INFO & DOCUMENTS WITH THE WRONG VIN NUMBER AT SIGNING. I made a deposit on an RV March 15 2024 however we ended up not buying an RV. They deposit was to be returned the day I notified them which was the next day and as of today 4/25/2024 it still has not been return. I have tried to call multiple times without any response. Will someone from Ron Hoover please contact me and provide some sort of update.Update - I received the refund back to my card on 5/09/2024 almost 2 months later.

Overall I had a really great experience here and I was treated very well. They really went above and beyond to help me and every department and every employee and every manager I dealt with was great. Any issues I had they were more than willing to help me out and make it right.The only reason I didn't give five stars was because of the "general manager". He was blatantly disrespectful to me in more than one way, on more than one occassion. I've never done business at a place where the general manager is the one who sabatoges the customer relationship the way this man did with me. I eventually just stopped doing business or dealing with this place altogether because of him.I would definitely recommend this place, but when it comes to my experience with the general manager he is devoid of empathy, lacks personal accountability, and operates from a place of ego/selfishness, deceit and manipulation. I'm a person who tells it like it is, so do what you will with that information. Hopefully your experience will be different.

If I could give 0 stars I would our camper and 3 others were broken into 30 pairs of jordans were stolen my daughter stuff was stolen and it took them 5 hrs to call the cops after call hq to cover themselves the fence was cut and the had time to break into 4 campers steal all our stuff and trash our camper Ron hoover deserves to be sued and they didnt lock any campers and put them on a rented lot and told my dad they had a master key and that they would lock it they didn't contact me if u habe any info ron hoover u will be sued

Rvs that were fixed here moved to a new lot and were broken in to all doors were unlocked and no windows broken why are rvs being left on a lot without cameras

Went to purchase a trailer was given a price and am interest rate then at signing they wanted us to sign a paper with no interest rate noted they said it could change umm no u said it was 5.9 with our credit and now you want to change it horrible then we asked for a purchase order to take to our bank they wanted us to sign papers to get purchase order nooo sir we have never had to sign anything to get a purchase orderVery shady and unprofessional salesman was Norm

Ron Hoovers been a big staple of boat & RV sales in Corpus for a long time so when I was shopping for a new boat I knew it would be worth a look. Spoke to a man named Collin who knew his way around a boat and helped me understand what I really wanted. They didn’t have what I was looking for, but they may have your dream boat waiting for you!

Awful experience here. Bought a very pricy boat. Wires were hanging down. Only one speaker works. No communication with us about what we needed to bring to closing which resulted in us having to wait on our check to clear the bank before we could take the boat. While I understand that, knowing they needed a cashier check would have been helpful. We were told boat was being detailed and cleaned but was filthy with stinking live well. One light on boat does not work even though they assured me it would be fixed. Our salesman told us he would deliver the boat once check cleared, but he left out of town and communicated nothing to me, so I had to drive 4 hours again to pick it up. Once I got there, the person who I picked it up from was not willing to answer any questions and ignored me and went inside. I will NEVER do business with Ron Hoover ever again. I am going into the fishing charter business and would probably be trading in my boat on the regular but it will not be here!

We stopped in to look around, not looking to buy right now but rather see the options. We have seen Ron Hoover RV all over our drives, so we decided to stop in. We really did not want to be pestered by a salesperson. We started looking at the first 5th wheel, and as we are stepping down, a salesman shows up. Colin came up and started talking to us. We told him we were just looking and did not want to waste his time. He was extremely polite and told us they do not pester people. He asked us what we were thinking of and then suggested we look at certain units and if we had any questions just to let him know. We walked the lot found units we liked and features we liked. We went in to get pricing ballpark, and if features we liked came in one unit. He gave us an answer and never pressured us. He was awesome, and we will go back to him when and if we purchase a unit.

Collin was by far hands down the best salesman I’ve ever worked with I will definitely be back to do my work with him. Very nice polite knowledgeable and straight to the point. I definitely recommend him for any and all marine and Rv sales

Incredibly pushy finance guy……. Insisted on a down payment even though we qualified without needing one. Wouldn’t let it go, even wanted us to finance the down payment separately. Crooked in my eyes. Then a month later got a “credit card” in our name that we didn’t sign up for from them. Look else where.
