I print out an application for rental assistance , and got there spoke to an oriental lady about my need, she just told me there was not help for rental assistance. I just left disappointed, now I might end up without a place to live. I have this address a star 1 because the place was new and looked nice. Seems always agencies help the wrong people. How sad.

I went into the office, told them I was homeless, hadn't eaten in three days and was told the shelter case worker hadn't shown up to work yet. When I asked what time that person would be in I was told IDK.
I returned later that afternoon and was able to talk to that person. She made me an appointment for the next day at 11:00 am. I returned at 11:00 for the appointment and told her I don't have an ID. When I went in initially I was asked if I had my ID and told them no. They have me fill out paperwork, entered my information into there computer and then told me without ID they couldn't help me. It was a struggle to get there three times in two days, I made it clear four times I don't have my ID and explained why and they wasted my time and turned me away. You can't tell me that people who are in a situation where they are seeking emergency shelter all have their IDs.
What a joke. Waste of time, energy and false hope. The only HOPE they give you is false hope. There's nothing about it that is of God. It's bullshit.

Stephanie and Jennifer the VA representative, r 2 faced. The staff steals. I've seen it first hand. They will invade your privacy. Which is against the law I've seen the staff take boxes of food home and other charitable contributions from people given to the salvation army in the staff will take it to their homes this place is a rip-off. If you have a dream they will destroy it. Watch out for Anthony if you still works there he's prejudiced as all get-out

3 years ago they saved me from going homeless. Helped me with rent for 3 months just time enough to get back on my feet. Thank you Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army Church, located on the property, is amazing! The Church is full of young and old- very refreshing and clever peeps! The EASTER Service message by Major Russell left me in tears. The Lord LIVES here. Hallelujah!

They do try to help people staying there offering resources and contacts for Alcoholic Anonymous Meetings. They even host a meeting in there. The building is beautiful & clean.

I would give this place a - 10 rating. They turned away 3 disabled women this July when it was 105 to 110 degrees. The people answering the phone are always rude and disrespectful. This place need to be reported to corporate for how they treat people
