The staff at this place is truly fantastic. They helped us get Gus and Kookie up to date on their shots and neutered at a reasonable cost compared to other vets in town. Communication was easy, and even when we had to return a second time due to abnormal aggression, they were incredibly kind, and the procedures went smoothly. Our dogs had no complications and are now happily running around.

My husband and I adopted two kittens from this cattery. They seemed very lethargic and we were told it was due to vaccinations and that they had a clean bill of health. We brought them home and they were showing signs of being very sick cats. Over 2k in vet bills later, 1k on supportive care, every cat in our household sick, one almost dying, we got a diagnosis of herpes viral infection and an upper respiratory infection that came from the kittens in this cattery. Our veterinarian told us that no amount of isolating or quarantining could have prevented this from spreading because it is an airborne disease. When emailing the organization about this, we were blamed and fingers were pointed. They took no accountability or showed any interest in taking action or investigating into the health of their cats. All of our cats are up to date on vaccinations and were VERY healthy and now they will have this disease for life. If you adopted a cat around 12/10 there is a 99% possibility that your cat has this disease. I DO NOT recommend adopting from here, especially if you have other fur babies at home. This has been extremely traumatic for our household. Below is a picture of our cat who got sick from the kittens. He hasn't eaten or drank water on his own for a week, ultimately leading us to having to feed him through a syringe. Make your decision carefully when adopting from here. This isn't the first time people have gotten sick cats from them, according to the previous reviews.

All team members made me feel safe knowing my baby would be okay after his surgery.

A few months ago I got 4 of my cats fixed here, along with ear clippings, rabies shots, and flea prevention treatment. One of my cats didn't make it out of surgery and died a few days later. The other 3 are doing fine now.

I have never been to this shelter but I came across them through Tik Tok and I love what they do for these cats! I support in any ways I can and recently was able to purchase these adorable pins from them.

We recently took two of our 5 months old, male pups to get neutered. The staff was very professional, informative and kind.

At first I would have given 5 stars, but they stated that the kitty I adopted did not have any medical problems. He had snot coming out of his nose, which is why I asked, but I trusted them. A few days later, my cat sneezed blood. I took him to the emergency vet and he has an upper respiratory infection with a hefty bill, which luckily was covered by the coupon provided by the Cattery. I think the staff was wonderful, but it was pretty clear that the cat I adopted had some sort of health concern that was not disclosed. If I had known, I could have scheduled an appointment with the vet rather than going to the emergency hours which costs $150+ more.

Came here recently and cannot stress enough how kind and helpful the staff are. I’ve yet to adopt a cat but just by my first visit I can tell they’re professionals who actually care for the kitties and want good homes for them. I believe the lady who helped me was named Dawn? (so sorry if I’m incorrect) she has short hair and was so sweet talking me through the entire visit. They let you view all the kitties and are very clean having you sanitize your hands prior to entering each room. The cats are beautiful and in great condition and I love how they are everywhere! Seriously, while in the waiting room I sat next to an adorable one who let me pet em before I was quickly called less than 5min later. Their price for adoption is also SO reasonable! I left with a smile upon walking out. I saw another review state they have trouble reaching them by phone, if you want to make an appointment to adopt with them email is best it’s on their website! They are quick with their response and will answer any questions you have! I seriously have nothing but great things to say about this place and cannot wait to go back and find the best fur baby to add to our home!! They even told me to feel free to ask any questions I have til then! If you’re looking to adopt a cat go here you won’t regret it!

I don't even know where to begin. The Cattery is an amazing cat shelter in Corpus Christi. Such friendly staff and very well run. We care for several large colonies of feral cats in the city. Some of the cats are dumped by their owners and are tame, indoor cats. The Cattery has taken them and found homes for them. Plus, the Cattery cares for special needs cats like Princess Cecily, their in-house celebrity. Corpus Christi is very fortunate to have the Cattery. The Cattery is a no-kill shelter and operates off of donations. Please consider supporting the Cattery by donating or buying raffle tickets so that they can continue doing their important work.

I adopted the formerly known “Artie” from here last year. She’s been a great addition to my family. The cage free concept is great, we got to really interact with all the cats and see their personalities. She was spayed, given all her shots and had an eye removal surgery prior to us adopting her. The only issue I’ve had with her is that she has kitty asthma but I don’t think that’s any fault of the shelter. Aside from that it’s been a great experience. I would recommend adopting from here!

Truly caring people here! I was told that a girl that used to work there would give there old cat free shots and when I called to come in they changed their mind and said that she doesn't work there full time and that they thought that she was going to pay for it and no they wouldn't comp the shot! The Cattery is the bomb! Fabulous cat's and employees!
