Break-in within days — no response from management
I moved my items into this storage unit mere days ago, and my unit was already broken into. Most of my belongings were high-value personal items, including clothing and accessories, and nearly everything was stolen. Corporate customer service notified me of the break-in, but when I went to the local office, it was closed.
I’ve called customer service twice, and they’ve tried to reach both the property and district managers, but I haven’t received a single call back. I have a photo showing the aftermath of the theft, yet I still haven’t been able to access what’s left of my items or get any updates. It’s deeply concerning that there’s been no communication or accountability after such a serious incident.
I am now leaving town for several days and have no access to my belongings (what’s left) and no forward movement. Customer service has been very responsive but it means nothing if the local management isn’t responding. Absolutely cannot recommend.
