First when you walk in the Store you are greeted by Ericka Ayala who immediately crushes you with her smile. If you were unhappy when you walked in, sunshine just entered your life. She then introduced me to Michael Almanza, the hitch man. I’m 81, from Blue Eye, Mo., in Corpus, going to Stillwater Okla early in the AM, and desperately in need of help with a wiring and hitch problem. Let me tell u, there cannot be ANYONE in the U-Haul system that would be more accommodating than Michael was to me. He said something like “quit fretting, I’ve got this”. I’d give him ten stars if I could. U-haul store 832065 is the BEST. And this review is real and I’m not a robot!!

Same as all the other reviews. Slow customer service. Ordered trailer hitch on-line for $675.22. Got there they had to go see if they had the hitch. Came back 10 min later. Said they had it but no hardware to install. Wanted me to come back during the weekday and would need the car from open to close and they would have to “gut the interior of the vehicle”. I got a refund. Never again U-Haul.

Took my car there to have a hitch installed. Worst experience ever. The installer insured us he has done several just like my car. Had to take our car to dealership and have the computer reprogrammed after he shorted out the positive line on my battery and corrupted the computer. Yes we had uhaul pay for the repairs. After having my car at uhaul for 4 days and an installer who had NO clue what he was doing. Took our car to another place in town and after 2 hours there I now have a working hitch. Shop around if you need a hitch installed, DO NOT TAKE IT TO UHaul.

I have ordered trailer hitch from them schedule a time to come in and when I get there they don't have the hitch. Unprofessional.

Scheduled a hitch installation about a month in advance. Get there at appointed time, worker not present, asked to come back in 2 hours. Come back to be told that they can't do it today. Zero communication with this customer.Addendum: today was like a different business. Even though I get an unscheduled call from them saying they are ready to install my hitch, I get it done and done quickly. A phone call goes a long way and enough for 3 stars.

Was told over the phone that they had space to store my RV. Towed it all the way there only to be ignored for 30 and then told they don't actually have room. Huge waste of time and gas.

Took 30 minutes to be helped. Employees walk around and don't try to help you. I took my vehicle to get a hitch installed at 930. They took all day to complete the job. I tried calling to get an update and call gets forwarded with a 20 minute wait to talk to someon . Horrible customer service and employees walk around like I kicked their dog. Uhaul really needs to address this poor customer service issue. This is the last time I come here.

This location has terrible customer service. I wasn't acknowledged one bit for half an hour walking in the store today. The man and the woman working there don't need to be in the service industry. I wanted to complain but honestly didn't feel like the two of them cared less about anything.... I would rather take my money somewhere else.

Terrible service. I reserved a pick up truck and trailer rental about 3 weeks ago to move in town for tomorrow may 4th from a guy named Jeramiah. At first he seemed helpful telling me if I scheduled my pick up later in the day i could keep it later the next so he suggested 4 PM and I ran with it. Then today may 3rd I get a call from Jeramiah telling me that the truck isnt gonna be available tomorrow when I need it and there is nothing he can do. I know things happen but letting me know 1 day before I move is ridiculous when it's been a few weeks. I wouldnt mind a full size moving truck but the apartments we are moving to have a 7 ft clearance for the 4th floor. So I ask him if for the inconvenience could we discount just the trailer since now I'm gonna have to find another truck last minute with limited resources. He laughed and said that's not how they do things. It's either the reservation or not. Then I asked him how come when he suggested a 4pm pick up the computer allowed him to schedule it if someone else already had it that day he had no reasonable answer except that the computer doesn't know if someone has scheduled for that day. I spoke with customer service and was helped by a rep named Diana who rescheduled a truck that was canceled to fit my reservation at 4. I Was told to talk to Richard the Manager about a discount. When I did he claimed the truck was already scheduled and there was no issue to begin with. That there was no cancellation so he cant discount it.

The service is very poor. They owe me a 50$, For cancelling my contract after they committed for equipment. And now simply denying it. What a bad staff and bad company!

On Tuesday July 31, 2018, we reserved a Motorcycle Trailer with the bump out for the front tire to fit into a holding area to avoid movement. The Motorcycle Trailer also had lower side rails which made it easier to strap down the bike. The reservation was for One Way from Corpus Christi, TX to Illinois online through U-Haul for pick up on August 21, 2018. We arrived at the SPID facility on the morning of August 21, 2018 and after confirming the reservation we were led outside to hook up to the trailer. It was an Recreational Trailer without the bump out for a tire. We questioned the attendant about this trailer because it was not the trailer we reserved. The attendant explained that they were out of the reserved trailer. We requested that he call another dealer to trade out the Recreational Trailer for the correct Motorycle Trailer with the bump out for the front tire, but his response was that they do not exchange rental equipment with other dealers. We had no choice but to take it. While traveling 1307 miles we were forced to stop and re-align the bike which was shifting around every couple hundred miles. This stopping and re-aligning of the Harley caused great stress and concern for the safety of our Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle and made for an extra long trip and it should not have ended up that way. Don't call the number because its forwarded to a call center. For a hitch and wiring install the call center said I would only pay 321.19. Now that I'm at the uhaul place they said I will be paying $384.29. Do yourself a favor and do it online, it's way more accurate information

It feels a little unfair being the only review on here... But the service at this U-Haul was just not good. My fiancé and I were planning a move from CC to Austin and needed a truck.... There are U-Hauls all over Corpus so we thought it had to be the way to go. We put in our order online a week in advance and the confirmation email said they'd call us. Two days before the move we stopped by the storage place we chose to pick up our 15' truck from to see if they received our order. The lady said she couldn't find anything on her computer and to try the storage place down the street... When we went to the next storage place Aron told us he could view our order but it was in fact for the storage place we just left.... He gave us the phone number for this U-Haul on SPID so we could get our order straightened out since all orders go through them anyway. We made contact with Amber and were told that because we needed a truck that would be dropped off out of town they changed our pick up location (would've been nice of them to let us know before we had to call and figure out ourselves). She gave me their address and phone number but because it was Sunday they were closed, which means we couldn't check in to see if they new about our order... So it's now the day before move day which is when we needed to pick up our truck. We called the new place about an hour after they opened to see if they had our truck ready. The lady said she had just seen the order but the truck we rented never actually got dropped off so she was waiting to call us (ok? How about just letting us know?). She said she'd get in touch with someone about it and call us back in half an hour. We waited just over an hour before calling for an update. They must have caller ID because when we called that second time she picked up the phone saying "yes sir?" Instead of the usual "thank you for calling _____, how can I help you?" Which I thought was a little unprofessional considering she knew why we were calling... But anyway, she tells us she hasn't heard anything and will call us when she does. This just wasn't going to work for us because our plan was to finish loading the truck that day in order to drive to Austin the next morning... We get in contact with U-Haul again and we're told they just don't have that size truck available for out of town use, but they could give us a free upgrade to a 26' truck. It was nice to offer I guess... But there's no way we needed or wanted to drive a truck that big. My fiancé got on the phone with Penske and was able to reserve a 16' truck within 20 minutes, and pick it up right away. It's too bad we didn't just go with Penske in the first place
